Yang nodded her head before she stopped in front of a dust shop. It looked like it was running VERY low on stock. "Wanna try taking a look?"

"Well, it is nice to meet you two at least." Yang nodded her head, letting Ruby rest a bit on her. "Let's go back then, from here on it's a smooth ride." She would then adjust the vehicle and keep going, keeping a steady speed, not too fast... Just enough to reach soon. [🦎]

"Well.... take care... okay?..." Still looking suspicious over Robyn.

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Yeah... Because it sure is very normal to have silver eyes!

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Just someone very close..." She reminded her a bit of Ruby...

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"You do remind me of someone I know...." Narrowing her eyes...

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"We do everything we can to help but there are days it doesn't feel like it's enough."

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Yeah, I can see that. Look, if you don't want to tell me, it's fine. I can understand wanting to hide those eyes... But believe me, it's all cool."

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow... "You are such a bad liar."

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"And you know about silver eyes?..." Robyn was not doing a good job!

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Robyn with a -" ....... "You have silver eyes?!...."

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"I'm not sure who they bought the recent dust, but for a while, they had very big mines all through the desert, all of them being explored by other nations. So this place isn't just a normal desert... They also mined the country dry and left it."

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"I do know a Robyn, one of the most badass huntress as a matter of fact. I just don't know you."

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"All right, miss acting suspicious Robyn 'I don't know my last name well'.... You think you can fool anyone with this?"

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Okay..." Taking her sunglasses off, placing it on the vehicle in front of her, she crosses her arms. "Who really are you?"

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"You struggle to pronunciation your own name?..." That alone was weird, but especially one short and easy to remember!

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"You really seem to struggle to remember names... No? Including your own..." NOW she was a bit suspicious...

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

After some minutes, they reached the edge of Mistral. "As big as always eh? This city is so weird to me."

"Don't mention it, I'm glad to help. Us cool gals gotta stick together!" Referring to both using shades and having a mechanical arm!

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Hopefully no one saw you there..." She said while they were driving. "Heard some very nasty stories about that tribe, not the kind of things a young huntress like us should get involved with."

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Good choice, on it!" She accelerates it towards the city!

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Well, yeah... Just asking where you were heading... Because I do not have any destination in mind."

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Want a ride away from here?" She pointed to her motorbike!

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Okay, I can tell you are not from here... This is a dangerous place for a huntress, okay? If that tribe catches even a sniff of you, they will try to kiII you."

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Yes... the Branwen in specific..." Which is why Yang was so worried...

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"So Robyn... What brought you here?" Weird to not give a last name, but Yang didn't seemed to mind.

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Name is Yang! Yang Xiao Long, and yours?"

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Dangerous job ours... I guess it is normal for people to lose parts of themselves." Sometimes those parts are not visible... She thought about her mom...

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Yoyushi?...." That's the first thing she heard... What a weird name...

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Other than my weapon? yeah it has a very cool feature... Here..." She offered it for a handshake.

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Hey, very nice... check mine out!" She... flexes her fake arm...

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Yang nodded her head... still staring at the other... "Cool arm by the way."

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"You are also a very bad liar... how long have you been a huntress?"

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Yang narrowed her eyes.... She did not believe her.

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Only reason a huntress would be around this area is because she is after the Branwen... So again... cut it. It never ends well." Yang thought that was the case, she was just trying to be nice...

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

You think Yang got it?... ... Here we go... "You are a huntress in disguise... aren't you? Only reason you'd be around this area trying to fake a voice like this... So I'm telling you, cut it out while you can." It's close to the Branwen area of influence after all!

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Don't play dumb... the voice... the sunglasses... this place..."

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Yang turned around and started approaching her. "I know what you are doing... cut it out..."

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

That just sounded even more suspicious... She looked back at the other girl... "What are you doing here?"

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

"Sup?..." She casually said while passing towards her bike... but she stopped...

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Well she had no reason to investigate... Not like people using a semblance is a reason for suspicion... She will just calmly finish her soda, pay up the drink and gas and leave.

000

𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧! @burningdragon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Nope... too late, she saw the petals... "The hell?..." That almost looked like her sister's.... No... she doesn't leave petals behind like that... Scratching her head confused...
