8 was my first, and all I ever hear about is how flawed it is 😭 I don't think I'd be into the series today if I'd started with 13, even though that's supposed to be "top tier" We should never feel bad about having unpopular favorites! (Although 16 ended up my favorite, so maybe I shouldn't speak.)

010

BurnerWolf @burnerwolf91.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Yeah, lol, would've been great, except that I had to work through it because I already took a day off to go to the con and I can't afford to take a week of sick days on top of that 😭

011

BurnerWolf @burnerwolf91.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Saw that art and knew I had to get a picture! It certainly helped bring the right vibes to the place!

010

BurnerWolf @burnerwolf91.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Real. Even worse because I went home with the con crud so I still can't push my body too hard.

Are there any helpful floofs out there who might be able to direct me to an account or any other way to contact the fine gentlefur on the left here at #ASC2026? Chai, if you're out there, I would love a chance to thank you properly.

BurnerWolf @burnerwolf91.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

One other funny story to come out of #ASC2026 . I wasn't sure if I was going to buy the con shirt or not. But I did buy a toy from @bad-dragon.com . And I knew my family was going to ask if I bought anything. So I made sure I could say "I bought this shirt!" with no comment about anything else.

It was awesome getting a chance to see @finnthepanther.com , @prawnzo.bsky.social , and @jackaloo.bsky.social in-person! Unfortunately didn't get a pic with Jackaloo, but he's seriously one of the artists who really got me invested in the fandom, so even just seeing him was such a cool experience!

Shout-out to @ricochetwolf.bsky.social for being the first fullsuiter I've met in person! First of many at this event, of course, but it was a special moment for me all the same! And what an incredible suit it is! One of my favorites even after watching the whole 1,000-suit parade.

Wish I got a better picture, but I want to compliment @yammoyeen.bsky.social for a hilarious comedy show and one of my favorite dance performances on top of it! Such a multitalented storyteller! That's one name I certainly won't be forgetting.

Had such an amazing time at #ASC2026 ! The fursuit parade and dance competitions were some of the highlights, of course! The pooltoy room was also an underdog favorite of mine.

Picture of various competitors from the Anthro SoCal fursuit dance competition, finishing up on-stage after the results announcement.

Photo of the pooltoy room in the Delta Hotel venue at ASC26. Lit primarily by blacklights, the room is filled with balloons, giant animals, and other various inflatables. I didn't realize how much I needed a moment to decompress until after I laid out on one of those inflatable huskies.

Photo of the welcome banner in the main lobby of ASC26. It is hung up along an upper walkway. Many congoers, some with fursuit heads, file in and out below.

I just got a lapdance from a murrsuiter in front of a packed crowd and it was actually the hottest thing that's ever happened to me. I love this fandom.

I love that we live in a world where a horny furry game can come out, and my feed is just suddenly filled with it. I hope to someday put out something half as neat as @naelstrof.bsky.social and the Gator Dragon team's Drag'N Wash.

Pretty cool that Pokemon Go lets you dress in a fursuit now.

In Ren'Py, you could clean up your code a bit by naming your scenes with spaces the way you would with character expressions ("7sex 3", "7sex 3a"), and then writing "show 7sex 3a" would automatically hide any other versions of 7sex. I apologize for the unsolicited advice from my VN brain.

I've always wondered what percentage of furry creators actually get off to their own work. Anyway, I'm one of them now. First NSFW CG for my VN has been drawn!

Unbelievably relatable. How many times have I found myself wishing I could be as gay in real life as I present on the internet… Still, my screen is full of rainbows, and I appreciate it every day.

"Stars in their Eyes" First look at a CG from my upcoming sci-fi romance #FurryVisualNovel, Star Crossed! #FurryArt #PrideMonth #Gay #FurryGame

A red fox in a blue and black uniform (left) and a black wolf in a ragged t-shirt and spiked collar (right) look into each other's eyes in front of a window looking out at a bright blue nebula. Light from the nebula floods in from behind, creating a romantic ambience.

I laughed over the same thing in the Metroid Prime 4 trailer. "The ability to jump" listed as if it's one of the incredible new things Samus is capable of doing.

Not sure why I let my mother convince me to watch Heated Rivalry with her. It really called into question why I bother to keep my phone screen filled with furry art turned away from her—while there's literal gay sex happening on the living room TV. Good show. Dev & Lee did it better. #PrideMonth

It's been, like, almost 2 years since I actually worked on a proper art project. I was sort of dreading the "chore" of going back. I can't believe I forgot the sheer catharsis of seeing ideas come to life on the canvas. I don't think I'll ever be a capital-A Artist, but I really do see the appeal.

000

BurnerWolf @burnerwolf91.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Scratch that, I found it in a fanfic I wrote almost ten years ago. Worse yet, it was definitely used in a derogatory way towards a raccoon character. But I didn't know! Shame on me regardless. Time to make some retcons.

BurnerWolf @burnerwolf91.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

I've been a furry for 4 years and a working adult in the United States for longer than that. I have never once heard of this as a slur before today. Thankfully, I don't think I've ever made the mistake of using it accidentally. But it easily could've happened if I hadn't seen this post, so thanks!

Just got out from The Mandalorian and Grogu. Turns out, it's got something for everybody! Bara slug men. Maw play. Even some hard Vore! (Belly bulges included!) Does Zeb count as a furry?

Screenshot of "Rotta the Hutt" (also known as "Stinky") the buff slug man from The Mandalorian and Grogu.

Screenshot of an "Anooba," the wolf-like companion of the Bounty Hunter Embo from The Mandalorian and Grogu. Quite literally uses its maw to play with a character during the movie.

Screenshot of a "Dragon Snake" from The Mandalorian and Grogu. Shouldn't be much surprise that it swallows people whole at some point during the film.

Screenshot of "Zeb" from The Mandalorian and Grogu. His arms are definitely furry. His face is less so than I would have assumed based on his animated design.

1 year later, things are still…sort of on track? Just passed my predicted 50k words, probably less than 1k off from completing the last ending. Still need a couple months to wrap up the art assets and take another pass over the script, but the VN is coming quite soon! #MaytheFourth #FurryVN #FurLit

Mario Galaxy was good! Fox was one among several characters who really deserved more of a character arc than they actually got. But I wasn't exactly expecting a narrative masterpiece. Regardless, made me excited to pick up Starfox 64 3D which has been sitting on my shelf for too many years.

Well this is new! AI-generated furry jumpscare on a generic shady mobile ad today. Not the kind of mainstream attention I was hoping for. But I suppose it's hard to be worse than what we've had previously? Wait, just noticed the tripod. We all know what that's doing there. Will the normies notice?

Screenshot of an advertisement for the "Atlas Earth" app. The headline says "GAMERS GET REVENGE WITH CASHBACK APP?" with an alarm light on top and money-with-wings emoji on the bottom. The video in the middle, which appears to be AI generated in a fully realistic style, shows two fox fursuiters, one orange and one blue, with identical cheering expressions that I've certainly never seen on a fursuit before, both sitting at the foot of a hotel bed, both holding/using their smartphones as they cheer. An unoccupied camera tripod is set up beside the bed. The mid-sentence caption (listing things on which a user could spend money earned in the app) says "eating out booking HOTELS"

Hail Mary was actually a fantastic movie though. Probably my favorite I've seen in a good long while, and I will be reading the source material soon. Between that, the Artemis launch, and the Mario Galaxy movie, I feel like I'm eating pretty good as a space nerd this week!

000

BurnerWolf @burnerwolf91.bsky.social · 05/04/2026

Didn't get to read Project Hail Mary before the movie came out. But until proven otherwise, I headcanon that Dr. Grace has a fox fursona. Like, I wouldn't go to space without my fox mask and fox sweater and fox keychain either. I see you, fam. #ProjectHailMary #Furry

Image from the film "Project Hail Mary." The protagonist, Dr. Grace, stands with arms outstretched, glasses hanging down off of his face. Over a simple button-up shirt, he wears a crocheted white sweater depicting two mirror images of a cartoonish fox head with an open mouth.

Actual conversation from my classroom recently: Student A: *unintelligible* Student B: "No, we are not naming our project 'The Furry Rover.'" A: *unintelligible* B: "No! We are not naming it 'The Futa Furry Rover!'" Pretty sure these kids aren't furries. So where are they learning these words!?

It's rare that something as trivial as a Trending list puts a smile on my face, but once in a while it's nice to get a reminder of why we came to this platform. Great work, folks! Keep the good word trending!

This is what makes sifting through werewolf romance so difficult. The wolf gets 5 paragraphs (sometimes even 0) on-scene in the entire story, and is otherwise just a dude who growls sometimes. And there's no telling without reading it! What's even the point!?

070

BurnerWolf @burnerwolf91.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

Somehow an official image from the Pokémon Twitter account showing what I'd like to do to Vaporeon.

Photograph of a Vaporeon plush submerged up to its neck in water. A heavy, continuous stream of translucent white liquid is splashing over its face. It's probably supposed to be water from a tap. It looks like something that's definitely not water.

BurnerWolf @burnerwolf91.bsky.social · 20/03/2026

The yiff is officially written! And I'm quite proud of it. That's 2 out of 3 endings done. Just gotta knock out the last one, draw a CG or 2, take one more pass over the script, and then my VN will be ready! Summer release looks feasible! 2 and 1/2 years of work coming to a head! #furlit #FurryVN

040

BurnerWolf @burnerwolf91.bsky.social · 16/03/2026

Writing yiff is hard. Because it makes me hard. And then I'm thinking about hard things instead of what I'm supposed to be writing. Is this what most furry artists have to deal with? How do we ever get anything done? #furry #FurLit #FurryVN

Picked up Fire Emblem Heroes for the first time in a while, and...I'm sorry, what is this icon? I know it's just my dirty mind making it look like a guy getting nailed against a wall, but I can't for the life of me figure out what else it would be.

Icon for the skill "Escape Route" from the Fire Emblem Heroes mobile game. It shows two minimalistic representations of human figures. The left figure is bent slightly forwards toward the left edge of the icon, arms raised just below the level of the head as if braced against a wall. The right figure is standing up straight, partially covering Lefty's lower back. The icon cuts off just below the level of the hips, leaving the rest to the imagination.

Original uncropped screenshot for reference. The skill is being taught to the Easter variant of Bernadetta from Fire Emblem Three Houses.
