Deidre DeJear got TROUNCED in both of her statewide runs in Iowa. Bernie endorsed her for Secretary of State in 2018, and it was the kiss of death. I think the stink of 2018 is what killed her governor run in 2022. She couldn't raise money, and barely campaigned in her 2022 run against Kim Reynolds.

Assuming that they are capable of feeling guilt at this point is a stretch. They typically just claim that they were "fooled" and demand that you be nice to them, unless you want them to make even *worse* decisions, show poorer discernment or *intentionally* hurt people next time!

We're about three weeks out from the election. Any voter that hasn't been "won over" at this point isn't winnable IMO. It's best to make sure that the votes that you *have* won are getting to the polls or otherwise sent in. Like OP said, those other folks are Paxton voters that didn't want to say it
