9 years ago today I was hiking around Smith Rock State Park and I snapped this pic with my iPhone. A friend who lives down there submitted it the local paper and they put it on the front page. I was floored. It is a beautiful picture though... and, before AI.

I met a 130lb wolf-shepherd hybrid named Kimba today. It's not everyday that happens. His person told me he's very sweet but he's a "fuck around and find out" type of dog. He was dumped as a puppy, he has a very fascinating story as is lucky to be in WA State walking in a park.

Talked to my 80+ mom (moved from Seattle to E. TX) about Spokane fires, how awful this guy killed someone, is out and now a serial arsonist. She blamed "liberal socialist judges" & "defund the police" politics. Do I tell her he's from Arizona, not Seattle? Thx to faux news, it won't matter. Sad
