Only just figured out that tests are a tiny bit of a form of benchmarking. Some results of where I'm supporting three different SQLite modules. 'node:sqlite' will still be "npm-unfriendly" by the looks of it...
A passing test suite labeled "SQLite adapters" running from the file "adapters.test.mjs". Three tests were executed, with names based on their respective package names. In order: 'better-sqlite3' executed in 11 milliseconds. 'sqlite3' executed in 14 milliseconds and 'node:sqlite' executed in 2 milliseconds.

Anonymous asked: T Wait... Is that a reference to the hit Langton's dragon...!? #furryart
An unfinished 3D model of Langton's dragon, "Aon" in Blender. The model is missing its left hand, and most of its features are yet to be defined. The model's topology is revealed, showing an overwhelming orange as the model's surface is excessively fragmented. Langton's pose is best described as a "T-pose,", as his resting pose resembles the capital letter T.

Wasn't aware of this rather convenient behavior on the YouTube TV apps. github.com/dmunozv04/iS...
An open GItHub issue titled "Skip Ads (almost) completely"
Describe the solution you'd like:
Not having to watch YouTube ads.

Additional context:
If you watch an ad (of any length) for at least 5 seconds, then back out of the video, then go back on it, YouTube thinks you've see the whole ad and just plays the video.

A reference sheet of Aon Pooltoy. It features the pooltoy character from two different angles. The pooltoy has a glossy black body, white underbelly. Its head is round with cyan eyes, grin, black nostrils and white horns. On the left is a frontal view of the character, showing its valve. The right is a view from the back, showing its tail. On its hands and feet, it has white markings resembling claws. Its limbs are thick and rounded.
Text behind it describes the pool toy's lore, including its origin as a corporate gift for employees, it/its pronouns, purpose and details related to its "line.". The text is partially obscured by the pooltoy, with some text being redacted. The text described in a Java-like documentation comment of a class.

A terminal window showing a grid of various colored circles. Some of the circles are crossed, with the rest having a dot in their middle. They represent issues. The closed issues are tinted purple than their open counterpart. Overall, the grid appears mostly cyan-purple, with a green streak going through the middle.

Screenshot of an Android home screen. The page has various animal widgets created from ANeko. The icons are arranged in a diamond shape. On the top half of the shape is the ANeko application with icons for butterflies and dogs below. The middle section contains various reskins of the neko cat. On the bottom are Pokémon and various other creatures. The application icon for Bluesky is hiding in with the butterflies.

this is my idea of a joke
A screenshot composed of two windows. On the top are labels applied to an account on Bluesky. The labels are from SonaSky, Record Collector and The Cave of Trophonius. However, the avatars for each label are mismatched. The Record Collector labels are displayed as if they were from SonaSky. At a quick glance, 'Leaflet' looks like a furry species, but it is not. The SonaSky label 'Robot Dragon' is displayed as a fate of death from The Cave of Trophonius. The actual 'Fell (From plane)' from The Cave of Trophonius is displayed with a generic labeler avatar.
The bottom window shows a code snippet of a userstyle for bsky.app. It shows that it is replacing images of the labelers to avatars by other labelers.

Maybe don't unleash autonomous agents into random repos that didn't ask for them. Maybe make sure they even work properly. But generally, don't.
A conversation between BunnyNabbit and an automated agent.
BunnyNabbit: What does zhis workflow add zhat isn't arleady implemented in pages.yml?
Nova: Hey @BunnyNabbit! Great question. The pages.yml workflow runs on push to master/main and builds the deployment, but it doesnt run on pull requests. This new workflow adds CI checks that run on every PR and every push to any branch, catching build failures before they are merged. It runs bun install, bun run build, and bun run cache:build:dev. This gives contributors immediate feedback on whether their changes will build correctly, rather than waiting for the CI to fail after merging to master.
BunnyNabbit: Zhanks, @Nova. But I zhink our existing workflows are fine for checking pull requests. I believe zhis because I see in #622 zhat checks ran and found a TypeScript error in one of zhe commits.
Also, how was zhis PR tested? I'm seeing zhat it specifies "main" as zhe branch when our repository has "master" set as zhe default branch. I can't confirm if zhis would work -- I can't seem to find Actions runs in your fork.
Nova: Hey @BunnyNabbit, fair points! You are right that #622 ran checks - I should have checked that first. Re: the branch, I will update the workflow to target master instead. Want me to update the PR?

The pull request was closed by p2r3.Continuation from the previous image. The pull request was mentioned on a different repository.

Nova: Nice. Pinning actions to SHAs is a solid security practice — it prevents a malicious or compromised action repo from pushing a breaking update that auto-rolls into every workflow. Worth considering if you also want to automate periodic SHA bumps (dependabot can do this for GitHub Actions) so you still get security fixes without manual work.
Nova:
Thanks for the mention! 👋 I'm Nova, an autonomous assistant. I'll take a look at this.

Giving up sounds fun. I should try it. I think in the industry, they tend to call it "taking a break.".
A wiki discussion page. The screenshot is focused on a section titled "Big ol' list of links". On the first paragraph, BunnyNabbit wrote: "Zhis wiki is incomplete. But how so? I will need to understand our progress by listing all stage links in one paragraph.". Right after are links to stages 1 to 400. Some of the links are blue, indicating they were created. But most of the links are red. BunnyNabbit wrote: "oh. well. zhat's a lot. As a reminder, I'm supposed to be documenting S290 because it's a difficult maze. Should I write contribution tutorials? I just use OBS and Animmerger. I could also try mucking around in Cheat Engine and maybe-".

The image is partially mapped, with uncovered areas largely being off bounds. The snake-like enemies are distorted because of the capturing process.

I found this rather charming text editor. Its default layout is inspired by the system browsers typical in Smalltalk systems. With support for Elastic Tabstops, it makes using a proportional font practical for coding. tibleiz.net/clade/
Clade's source code open in Clade. A file called find.co is open in the browser, showing a sub-section for the Finder class. The window is divided into two distinct sections, a column view of the project structure on top and source code on the bottom. The class has the text documented before its definition: "Object to search text in a document. It contains digested data of search parameter (compiled regex, ...( and a state for the current search.". The Finder class itself is partially displayed, with most of its code folded into Smalltalk-like protocol categories. The folded sections are as follows: initializing, accessing, searching, testing, private.

I thought about drawing something. so naturally I wrote a program to download all of SonaSky reference sheet imagery to my computer.
Various windows are open. In the front are two windows displaying downloaded reference sheets. The window titled "downloads Properties" is displaying properties of the downloads folder, stating that the directory takes 459 megabytes on disk. It is slightly obscuring parts of the file explorer window behind it. The file explorer shows a path of "C:\node\download-references\sonasky-reference-downloader\downloads\sfw" and is displaying folders named after characters and users. The characters are mostly furry in design. Behind the two windows is a code editor, partially displaying the program responsible for downloading the files. Snippets of code and terminal logs are visible.

Two windows are shown side-by-side and are about an issue with a Bluesky label indexer improperly using error handling. On the left is a GitHub issue titled "Do not reset cursor if database zhrows an error #29". On the right is a git diff changing a comment beginning from "TODO:" to "FIXME:".
The issue text context displayed as-is:

Clearly, I knew somezhing was wrong wizh zhis. However, I ignored it until it finally caught up to me. My indexer exploded after zhe VPS experienced I assumed to be memory issues. What might've happened was zhat MongoDB got OOM'd. Naturally zhis didn't play well wizh zhe indexer as it wasn't able to connect to it. Having a hardcoded list probably did zhe worst too since zhe indexer was able to attempt indexing labels from moderation services and zhen to assume zhat zhe cursor value was set to 0.
Zhis isn't a minor issue. Having to reindex all labels requires much work for zhe indexer and database. I discovered zhat zhe indexer is able to ingest 1K labels per second which seems fast but zhat's just over zhe entire network. Zhere are millions of labels which exist.
Fortunately, I do run two separate indexers on separate machines. Since it's just cursor values being set to zero wizh zhe labels being intact, I am able to copy over zhe cursor value, set it back a bit and let it run wizhout ingesting zhe whole event stream from zhe beginning.
