i guarantee the results are so much more funny when you think about the time it takes someone to edit cursed and silly things onto an image that comes out as absolute cinema than chatgpt slop 😭😭😭

that's like someone asking for pepsi but is handed coke. it don't matter if "it's basically the same"/"they taste similar", if the person wants a pepsi, give them a freaking pepsi. maybe i'm just too neurodivergent about this and should cap my yap. 💀

MER ᰔ #BringValkoBack @lunarbelle.etheirys.social · 2h

it just grinds my gears when someone has a specific request and someone (who may have well intentions) replies with something that wasn't asked for.

110 1

MER ᰔ #BringValkoBack @lunarbelle.etheirys.social · 2h

therefore, if the requester wanted to edit their image, they could have just ChatGPT'd it - but they specifically asked for photoshop editing for a reason, so the replies should result in actual photoshopped works.

110 1

MER ᰔ #BringValkoBack @lunarbelle.etheirys.social · 2h

regardless of one's stance on it, *anyone* can use generative AI, so in theory, the requester could just ChatGPT an edit of their photo. but they are in a photoshop request group, so they are requesting the aid of photoshop users.

110 1

MER ᰔ #BringValkoBack @lunarbelle.etheirys.social · 2h

my thing is, these group names are called photoshop requests, which entails that they are requesting someone with skills in photoshop editing to fix their picture, NOT requesting generative AI -

110 1

MER ᰔ #BringValkoBack @lunarbelle.etheirys.social · 2h

i used to really enjoy photoshop editing groups but nowadays when i see people request an edit, the "results" are from people who have used generative AI.

gposers looking for more library/archive environments: the area where the Forbidden Folios CE (i.e. "math boss: wrong answers only") spawns in North Horn has some excellent choices for Situations :3

B'alith studies an open book in an abandoned library. Books are piled up on the floor behind him, and a ladder leans up against a tall bookshelf.

the fact that AI is allowed to exist in literary and art spaces is truly concerning. if you didn't draw/write it, it is theft...

anyway. don't fucking touch my laptop. don't touch my phone either but my laptop was with me through endwalker and endwalker was during a time in my life when i was losing myself, physically and mentally. i really believed i was gonna die from the wound my heart was trying to heal from.

MER ᰔ #BringValkoBack @lunarbelle.etheirys.social · 17/10/2026

No apology from her, only "omg i feel so bad". I'm not one to demand an apology but why is it usually me that does the apologizing but the people physically in my life don't extend the same towards me when I've been wronged? Like am *I* doing something amiss for this to be a constant in my life?

010 1

MER ᰔ #BringValkoBack @lunarbelle.etheirys.social · 17/10/2026

Yeah I was mad but I sympathised with her plight because of her trauma. So I put tape over my webcam for her peace of mind. I didn't have to but I did cuz I didn't want her to feel paranoid any time I brought my laptop outside my room. I did not press about how angry I was cuz I already solved it.

110 1

MER ᰔ #BringValkoBack @lunarbelle.etheirys.social · 17/10/2026

Also this person touched my laptop and closed it when I was idling it to download a game when I went out because she was afraid of the webcam spying on her. The webcam wasn't even on. I never even use it. But she fucking closed my laptop while I was DLing a game. While I was away.

110 1

MER ᰔ #BringValkoBack @lunarbelle.etheirys.social · 17/10/2026

I just feel like a continual apology isn't gonna solve anything if the other person is still bothered enough to keep pressing the matter. I acknowledge what I did bothered them and apologized. IDK what more there is to do from there.

110 1

MER ᰔ #BringValkoBack @lunarbelle.etheirys.social · 17/10/2026

I cannot make anyone feel better after I apologise for the wrong action I did, I acknowledge I have no control over how others feel even when there is a genuine apology. But if the other person continues to press the issue even after the apology and owning up to the fuck-up, what does one do then?
