I hear this statistic all the time but have my doubts. I'm not sure where that number came from, but I've encountered the opposite. The educated women I know vote blue, whereas those without higher ed are red all the way. But I live in a deep blue State.

I've been visiting Canada since I was a child and love it! And now, with the expansion of citizenship by descent, I'm a de facto Canadian citizen and in the process of gathering the records to submit for certification. And, yes, things really ARE better north of the border!

Oh, I have. A few years ago, I rented my spare room out to one. He came down about once a month for a few days to take care of his business and back he went. I specifically asked him about this and wait times for care. He laughed and said that's absolutely not the case.

That's fire right there. An alcoholic friend in recovery 1+year thought he could manage controlled drinking. He couldn't and said he was surprised how quickly 2 drinks went to all-out bottles. He's again getting the help he needs with his recovery.
