iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

All I think about is how badly I wanna play fire emblem and how horrifically burnt out I am from work which prevents the enjoyment of playing my anime chess dating sim. ☹️

A painting of Leda and Olympia from fire emblem fortune's weave. Both are kneeling on the ground, and Olympia is covering Leda's eyes

I adore period fashion and would love an excuse to draw some outfits.

Wild first post to see in the morning. The answer is Pop because he has the cute little uniform, then crackle and least is snap because there’s one illustration of him that looks a little too much like a caricature of a guy I knew.

It’s not even 9am and I’ve already sent a response to someone that included a wiki page and corporate jargon that translates to “you could have found this your fucking self”. I’m so ready to be on vacation next week.

I can see all the artists I follow in my feed again. I love living in a new state without weird id laws 💖

We move this week and I’m hoping so bad that things get settled quickly enough that I can participate in art fight this summer 🥺

Only 2 more weeks until I live in a place that doesn’t require age verification for ‘adult’ content. Can’t wait to actually see all the artists I follow on my feed again. 😭

Forcing myself to find time to draw in the midst of relocating.

A sketch of three characters. Two women, Serenity and Maggie are playing a card game while a man, Jack, lounges on a couch watching them. Jack appears to be chastising his sister for something while she looks away with a smile. Serenity is focused very hard on trying to figure out why she keeps losing.

We’re getting relocated to a neighboring state that still gets snow but the houses have basements so we’re gonna make a sick ass game room and it’ll make up for not getting to be warm.

I’ve used Reddit for over a decade and have very carefully curated my feed with only subreddits of my hobbies, animals & generally positive things. And yet over the last month or so I’ve been increasingly pushed right wing/incel/hate subs. Muting them doesn’t seem to make it stop. Like wtf

Husbands possibly getting relocated for work and it would be to a state that averages 55° in winter. Please god 🙏🏻 all I want is to be warm.

Secondhand smoke- #monigard for #fefemslashweek2025 prompts tension and trust 🚬

Monica and edelgard from fire emblem are shown in their academy outfits. Edelgard is laying down, blowing out smoke. Monica sits above her, holding the cigarette and squeezing Edelgard’s cheeks so that the smoke blows toward her

Truly nothing I loathe more than seeing an email starting with “Hello Folx!” Buddy, just say folks. It’s already gender neutral. Your “inclusion” just reads as performative and corporate not as welcoming.

I know I can make a nice fucked up romance for Mati and Ren though and that is an exciting prospect. ☺️

000

Bunatee @bunatee.bsky.social · 17/10/2025

Luckily I can actually save a fair amount from Mati/Ren’s chapters but there is still a lot of work to be done to restructure the plot. I think this is the right call to make for the stories. Lily and Azyr deserve their epic fantasy and I don’t think I can do it justice yet.

Bunatee @bunatee.bsky.social · 17/10/2025

I’m working on splitting Divine Rites into two projects. Essentially taking Serenity/Matisse out of it and giving them their own story. The majority of world building will stick with them while the plot goes to Lily/Azyr. I mostly just want to have a concise story and lean into character conflict.

I did also fully rewatch Midnight Mass last night too. Can’t wait until next year for another rewatch lol

I’m very happy that I finished that drawing last night even if I don’t love the outcome but damn I really shouldn’t have stayed up so late.

Hapi and constance from fire emblem three houses are shown in their beach outfits from heroes. Hapi is behind Constance with her arms on Constance’s shoulders, while Constance holds onto hapi’s wrist

Bunatee @bunatee.bsky.social · 29/09/2025

There are questions I do want answers to, and while I’m not super invested in Helena, I’m curious about what happened with Luc. I enjoy some of the horror aspects with necromancy and Not-Voldemort’s decay. That’s really all so far though… hopefully it gets better.

000

Bunatee @bunatee.bsky.social · 29/09/2025

I have a plethora of other complaints too but man. . . I need to learn that if a book is super hyped I’m probably not going to love it. Which isn’t to say Alchemised is all bad. There are some aspects I’m enjoying.

100

Bunatee @bunatee.bsky.social · 29/09/2025

Why do I feel like I’m suddenly reading this worlds version of Genesis and it has no immediate relevancy. And seemingly no real relevancy to the plot as a whole right now. It feels like it’s added in just for the author to be like “SEE I MADE A UNIQUE WORLD! ITS NOT FIC ANYMORE!”

100

Bunatee @bunatee.bsky.social · 29/09/2025

This book absolutely did not need to be 1000 pages. The prose is so clunky at times and I’m not one to usually complain about “info dumping” but the world building feels so disjointed and unnatural.

100

Bunatee @bunatee.bsky.social · 29/09/2025

I’m currently reading Alchemised because I needed to know what the hype was about. Never read manacled because I haven’t read HP fics since like middle school. It’s not at all the masterpiece people are claiming it to be. I’m on my hands and knees begging publishers to hire editors.

Went home for a festival yesterday. Saw a golden retriever wearing a bandana, so handsome. Didn’t realize the owner was a guy I haven’t seen since high school until he was like “oh hey!” Which was a little funny but I did find out the dog’s name was Leo and that’s what matters in this story.
