We all commonly accept mental and physical differences in people. Some are taller, some shorter, some introverts, some extroverts. But for some reason we do not accept mental and physical differences when it comes to sexuality.

We all accept that people are unique. We accept that people are different in physical and mental ways. Some are shorter, some are taller, some are introverts and some are extroverts. But when it comes to sexuality, a person must be male or female and must be attracted to the opposite sex.

I hope you are wrong, but fear you may be close to right.

Might makes Right. In order to follow this doctrine you have to either increase your power or decrease your opponent's power. View Trump's actions (economic and military) with this is mind. A lot of stuff makes sense. Eg, Ever Changing tariffs don't help manufacturing but do hurt other countries.

Lower income people probably pay a higher percent of income in sales tax and FICA tax rather than income and capital gains tax. Lower income people probably pay a higher percent of their total income in all taxes (federal, state, local, sales, income, FICA ...). It's one thing to consider.

President Trump has enormous power. He can, not only tell his supporters what to say, he can tell them what to think. That is power.

?? When the government owns the means of production, it is called either socialism or communism. ?? I've never heard of state capitalism.

If Trump is successful at pumping more Venezuelan oil, the price of oil will drop and the US oil industry will plummet because it costs >$50/barrel to get US shale oil out of the ground and $10/barrel to get regular liquid oil out of the ground. Trump is not going to do that. What is his angle?

If Trump is successful at getting Venezuelan oil out of the ground at higher volumes, it will lower the price of oil. This will hurt all other nations producing oil including Saudi Arabia and the US. How does the US/Trump benefit? Will Saudi Arabia pay to stop the Venezuelan oil? Extortion?

We kidnapped a president of a sovereign nation to stand trial for breaking US law. I'll be surprised if the US courts don't throw this out. Why aren't more people in the US, including journalists, upset that we did this? We've already colonized this country once before and failed.

I wish there was an option to do just that. (And one I could actually be able to find without digging through pages of instructions.)

1. Republicans can end the shutdown today with no votes from the Democrats. As they have before, they can change the filibuster rules. They choose the shut down. 2. Republicans could be working on the 12 appropriations bills needed after the shutdown ends, but choose not to work on them.

If you get a chance, work this into your posts. It's a comment about the Republicans BS stance on supporting life. I don't know who he is but he said it all. www.nytimes.com/shared/comme...

Until the Democrats develop a new Message Delivery System, they will continue to lose. Democrats keep using the same playbook. Republicans created a new playbook starting with Rush Limbaugh followed by Fox. Using the same playbook will keep consultants paid but continue to lose elections.

Lack of trust in the government is the goal. Develop chaos then use that chaos to control by emergency and personally profiteer.

First the head of the Department of Labor Statistics then the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency. Trump wants everyone to know they cannot trust the statistics.

It's called socialism - the government takeover of private business. It may also be called communism.

I just got off an ATT AI chat session. I can assure you AI will not help with productivity. It's the 80/20 rule. AI is 80% of the way there but the last 20% will take lots longer to achieve than the first 20%. AI results look good to those who don't have the expertise to understand its results.

The point is, actually, to make the numbers not trustworthy. Then MAGA's only source of truth is Trump. (God forbid)

Any interviewee will state some facts and some opinion. Fact checking opinion is not possible. You end up with pants of fire nonsense. Let your audience know when the interviewer is stating opinion but do not fact check it. Fact check the facts only. Otherwise its just more opinion.

AI will bring mediocrity. A smaller pool of employees will mean fewer poor and average employees but also fewer exceptional employees and therefore less creativity and fewer new ideas. AI will continually have less and less to learn from which will lead to mediocrity.

Yeah, but good PR. Starve 2 million people then develop a PR campaign to solve the problem. OR ... They could just open the gates and let the trucks in with UNRWA distributing it.

It was funny. The headlines said it was 1/2 of what it could be instead of that it is 15% more than it was. The national media took the bait on that one.

Before the war started Israel knew what to expect. It's a know fact that Urban warfare hides behind civilians. The chose to drop bombs killing civilians and use starvation. They could have chosen other methods, like the way the US fought in Iraq. It was a choice. I suspect, it was the plan.

The Public Media Challenge. Ask your MAGA friends if they want to know the effects of Trump's actions (USAID, FEMA, Investigations into private citizens etc.), if so ask them to watch the PBS Newshour and listen to the NPR News at the top of the hour for one week.
