Last two weekends to see FEAST, put on by Walking Shadow Theatre Company at Black Forest Inn. Grab a goblet of Grundwyrgen when you get there. It's our northern European style mead with juniper, hops, hibiscus, elderberry, and rose hips. www.eventbrite.com/cc/feast-and...

Picture of card explaining the Grundwyrgen mead, with a picture of the original Beowolf text. Reads: "Grunwygen is from the Old English meaning Sea Hag, which was one of the names given to Grendel's mother in Beowolf, who is otherwise nameless. All of March, the Walking Shadow Theatre Company is in our banquet space, with their production of Feast. Grendel's mother is the main character, the only character, in the play.

The mead, Grundwyrgen, was inspired by Beowulf and Feast and made to pair nicely with our Old World food.
