⠀ Soft music filled the air. Notes came and went, rising and falling in melodic fashion. Amidst the soft and ambient jazz, Tsukishima read the book in his hand. The worn pages turning occasionally. As he read he sipped a dark amber liquid absentmindedly. ⠀ Another peaceful night.

⠀ ⠀ Reading in peaceful solitude, enthralled by the text on worn pages. No matter how many times he reads the book in his hands, he still finds himself captivated by the authors world. ⠀ ⠀

⠀ Morning had arrived. Dawn breaking over the horizon, sky alight with varying shades of red and orange. Standing out front of Kukkaku’s place was the tall, lanky Fullbringer. He found himself waking early just to watch the sunrise every morning. It had become routine for him at this point. ⠀

⠀ ⠀ Raises a glass full of dark amber liquid, eyes focused on the ceiling above. ❝Happy New Year.❞ He murmured to himself before downing the whole glass in one gulp. ⠀ ⠀

⠀ Eyes remain glued to text adorned pages as he offered a light chuckle in response. ❝You and I both know I am incapable of making you do anything you don’t want to do. I simply saw your glass was empty, so I brought you a new one.❞ Turns a page. ❝Besides, you think to much. Live and let die.❞ ⠀

⠀ ⠀ The remarkably tall and lanky fullbringer approached his partner in crime, finding a seat next to him, nose still in his book. Whilst a book resided in one hand, a fresh glass of whiskey took residence in the other. He slid the fresh cup in front of Ginjo, not speaking a word. ⠀ ⠀

⠀ ⠀ The taste of bitter liquid brought life to the fullbringer. It was early, dawn having just begun, and Tsukishima was enjoying his morning coffee in peace. With each sip he could feel his grogginess fall away. ⠀ ⠀

⠀ Eyes scan the text atop worn pages, soaking in every word, lost in the story they told. He paid no heed to the ruckus happening in his surroundings. It was a common occurrence, one he ignores often, at Kukakku's place. ⠀
