Mabosstiff: A more recent Pokémon, I'm kinda a sucker for 'old man' character design in media, and that appeal I find here. I also just love how the design doubles that with a sort of mob boss look, that's then both subverted and played up in it's pokédex entries with it being a 'family man'.

Decidueye: Gen 7 is unique of all the gens for me for having my favourite set of starters, and those starters' evolutions, in the franchise. If I had to choose one though, it is a very tough choice between Incineroar and Decidueye, but I think Decidueye wins it out, it's just so god damn cool.

Glaceon: Favourite eeveelution. Also kind of the face of ice types for me, just generally a really nice design.

Bidoof: Diamond being my first game in the series, I believe Bidoof was likely the first Pokémon I ever caught (not counting the starter I chose, which was Chimchar) and I've got a soft spot for them kind of as a result.

Houndoom: Just kind of a metal design, love it. kid friendly demon dog. If it's available in a specific game, chances are it's going to be filling both fire and dark for me.

Cubone: Probably my favourite gen 1 Pokémon. It's an endearing design with a tragic story. I may also be biased towards liking them though. I was once sent a plush of them by a friend, when I asked them why, the response I got was "They remind me of you", You can read into that however you wish. 😭

Sonic 1 is set on South Island, and I went to look at the place where you get the glyph, and it's kinda got a simmilar silhouette to this depiction of it. Like, there's nothing there, this little island is just scenery, but if it was intentional, neat, I guess.

Can't lie, the new WoW patch is making me grasp at straws for merriment, I've not been impressed. Like it's not as bad as the mid patches for release Midnight where but I'd hardly call it good. But I noticed this skyriding glyph, 'Southern Island' Like I'm definitely reading too much into it but-
