it pains my heart to admit this, but yesterday my dad died of heart related complications (heart attack and heart failure at the same time), i will probably not be posting about bugs, liking bug posts, or anything of that sort for a bit. you were the biggest support i knew, may you rest in peace

so, there's a few things that're really fun about having a friend that's part of the russian Joost Klein fandom. you get updates on a dutch artist you basically hear nothing about in your own country, and you learn what propaganda russians get given

Joost Klein in a very majestic white suit with a white cape. in the background you can see a security guy infront of the stage looking at the camera taking a picture. the suit Joost is wearing reminds me of those long finned white koi carp in a way i can not explain in words due to the lack of words i know that could describe such a majestic suit. the shoulder pads however are as insane as his about 21 other custom tailored suits

so, i should most likely introduce myself. i'm Hilde, an amateur entomologist/bug keeper. i am from the netherlands and live near a creek, allowing me to find some cool stuff in the water, such as diving beetle larvae and water scorpions. have some of my bug pics
