Males always expire shortly after insemination while still inside the female. Females cannibalize shortly after. Here, a male hangs from a female’s reproductive opening as she sits on my arm. 4422

Their sibling, Bub, short for Beelzebub, refuses to resurface from the sand. There is a third sibling but I haven't had the energy to name them for over a year. 8728
