iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I have 4 full albums. Other than that… we wait 🙁

…amazing, and I’m gonna watch it. Because it looks so bad but everyone says it’s great. No spoilers please!

… that bad would still be on the menu. It must be good enough to overcome the first impression. Which leads me to Severance. Y’all. Your little clip of Ben Wyatt running down a hallway sucks so much. To someone who hadn’t seen the show, It’s the most nothing clip ever. So this show must be..

I’ve always been a big believer in trying out the “weird” thing. If I go to a restaurant and their big signature dish sounds terrible (a pizza with grape jelly and chocolate chips or a cheese burger with peanut butter) then it MUST be amazing. Because nothing that sounded that bad AND tasted…

Tickies are up now for MOST shows - a few stragglers coming later this week. But this is the schedule — get your spot now at bughunterbug.com/collections/...

Jam mechanics is coming back next week. Tell your friends (even though they are sick of hearing about it)

Hey I thought we were friends too, Janie 🥺

Ooh yeah I’ve played that! Had fun but kept running into an issue where the less-experienced player would end up on a team by themself halfway through and the rules were just too *much*, let alone figuring out strategies. Better game for “board game people”

That picture is so cute. Thanks so much for the follow-up! Hopefully there will be no other mishap with the poster! :)

I watched it. It was terrible. So worth the journey

I’m halfway through bingeing Till Death Do Us Blart and I can’t wait to finish episode 10 and then finally watch this flick.

2190

Yeah that’s what I read, too! I wish I had the time to sink into this right now because I found it to be a history lesson and a spreadsheet wrapped in a UI and that’s my jam (I also loved medieval: total was 2 SO much in high school and this felt like that)

So maybe this is my “I live under a rock” moment but I just discovered a game called Crusader Kings 3 and I played the tutorial and literally laughed out loud several times as it kept throwing THINGS at me. Historical Terms, concepts, systems. But in a “oh wait I’m kinda getting… educated?” Way.

People who post bookshelves on second-hand marketplaces without giving the dimensions, why are you like this??? Don’t get me started, specific person who responded to my inquiry with “I dunno, but I can measure it for you if you’d like”

3131

Yeah I’ve done base game twice. I tried to get into digital Root game and it didn’t do much for me. Might’ve felt different on the table though playing against a real person instead of AI (who I just kind of… ignored? While I did things until I won?)

I can’t play catan because I lose friends. Winning isn’t my goal. Making the first person who betrays me LOSE is always my goal. I’m toxic in catan

Bug Hunter @bughunterbug.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

I’ve played it on TTS a bit and I just got my physical copy but I’m unsure on it. 2 player felt incredibly harsh, might need to try it with 3! And maybe the physical game “feels” better

I wish I liked wingspan, I just… don’t. I call the genre “solo games you play together” where you add up points at the end to see who wins doesn’t do it for me. Tracking your opponent’s strategy grinds the game to a crawl. I liked everdell a bit cuz it’s cute tho! But not enough to buy

Bug Hunter @bughunterbug.bsky.social · 24/11/2024

What board games are people hyped about right now? I’m still on the Arkham horror LCG train but been looking at what’s come out in the past year as I haven’t played much else!

Happy six years to this album. Can we skip to the 10 year so I can tour a full album play-through??
