It's very funny to me how this book was clearly written to cash in on anti-woke panic and is now so painfully out of date that it may as well not exist. Also of course it's a Lawrence Krauss joint. Read his Wikipedia page for an Epstein jump scare.

I've just completed illustrating some pests & damage for FOR Sweden. Who knew painting maggots & rotting fruit could be so much fun? Two of the apples below are damaged by the Plum weevil #Conotrachelusnenuphar, two by the # Apple maggot fly #Rhagoletispomonella #sciart #botanicalillustration
