William Pratt (Nov. 23, 1887 - Feb. 2, 1969) Better known as Boris Karloff, his many roles include Frankenstein’s Monster and the Grinch. Karloff’s real name William Pratt was later used as the real name of a “bloody awful poet” named William aka #Buffy’s Spike. #OTD Spike’s name is from IDW comics

Happy anniversary to @janeespenson.bsky.social’s #Buffy debut episode “Band Candy” (Nov. 10, 1998). It was great to see Anthony Stewart Head bring “Ripper” to life, and such chemistry with Kristine Sutherland. Always fun to have Robin Sachs back in Sunnydale as Ethan. #BuffytheVampireSlayer #OTD

28 years ago today, Buffy Summers started her first day at Sunnydale High where she'd meet her new watcher/father figure Giles, her soon-to-be witchy best friend Willow, the other soon-to-be best friend Xander, vamp lover Angel, and Queen Bee Cordelia and it changed the course of pop culture history
