I realized I have not posted the full image on here. I'm very thankful for the opportunity to do #graphicrecording for the Commitment panel at the #GlobalDisabilitySummit 2025! It was a great learning opportunity to stroll around and see all the work being done around the globe! #GDS2025 #GDS +

commissioned some mask chains recently from Sotax Studio on instagram these really help diverge the comments from "why are you wearing a mask" to "omg i love the chains!"

Another thing I made this year. Pigeon history!

A comic called "What City Pigeons Talk About". Two city pigeons are standing on the sidewalk. One says "Hey, do you ever think about the past?" The other says "The past?"

A hand reaches out to three wild pigeons. The narrator pigeon says "Humans domesticated us many millennia ago in the Middle East. We provided meat, feces used for fertilizer, and much more." There are two very fancy pigeon breeds. "Over time, people split us into hundreds of pure breeds - some quite elaborate! Kings and queens proudly kept pigeons, and colonists spread us worldwide."

Lately i've been thinking about how many of the processes traditional media has used to build trust (an editorial bureaucracy, lots of editing, making work more concise, and hiding a lot of that work & presenting a polished finished product) now read to audiences as inauthentic & less trustworthy
