It’s #JellyBellyFriday which means Gizmo spends the entire day upside down 😹😹 Have a great weekend everyone! 😸😸🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is lying on his back on a grey/silver/white rug showing off his long and luxurious tummy fur. It’s a mix of orange and white which creates a creamy look compared to the orange on his legs and head. The fur is much longer than the rest of his coat and you could easily lose hand in there! Not by Gizmo eating it of course, he’s very amenable to belly rubs! His head is at the bottom of the picture with its long white whiskers, green eyes and large pointy ears with orange tips. He’s holding his front snow dipped paws up towards his chest and chin in a cute effort to attract cuddles. It always works!

#throwbackthursday to a time Buddy got caught trying to pack Gizmo in a suitcase and send him to Mars. Just for a few weeks 😹😹🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

A throwback picture of Buddy and Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cats playing around at a suitcase which mum was trying to pack for a holiday. Gizmo is in the case sniffing at a plastic bag which contains some cosmetics while Buddy sits outside the case. He’s looking up at the camera with a look that suggests we’ve caught him doing something he shouldn’t! Maybe he had plans to zip the case up and hope Gizmo got taken so he could have a break 😹😹 both boys have beautifully soft and shiny orange coats.

This is what’s known in the industry as a so Gizmo picture! This one is going in the hall of fame - his whisker game is first class today! 😸😸🦁🦁 #whiskerswednesday #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

An absolute all timer of a picture from Gizmo today who looks every inch the magnificent orange Maine Coon that he is! He’s got his head tilted at a slight angle looking up left and has his mouth partially open, exposing the bottom large sharp canine teeth. Brown freckles can be seen on his lip/gums. His white whiskers are on particularly epic form and are so long each side reaches the edge of the photo! They curl up towards the ends and look spectacular! His green eyes are lit up as he meows (hence the open mouth) and his large pointy ears with their orange tips reach for the sky as always. Gizmo’s right paw extends out from underneath his white chest coat - it’s a large paw that looks dipped in snow. Overall this is a classic Gizmo shot - I’m biased but I’d rate it 11/10!

Beans! Blurry beans but beans all the same! To be honest even if his paw was in focus you’d barely see them for floof! 😹😹🦁🦁 #toebeantuesday #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is sitting on a grey/silver/white rug and has his back right leg raised high in the air in a position most of us would dislocate our bodies trying to mirror 😹😹 if you’re that flexible then I salute you as Gizmo’s leg does! The snow dipped paw on the end of said leg is a bit blurry but we can make out a few pink toe beans hiding amongst the floof! Gizmo has his head slightly down and is leaning forward on his front legs. We get a good look at the top of his head which is extra orange with darker orange tabby style markings.

Gizmo is such a good loaf baker these days he reckons he could win The Great British Bake-off quite easily! 😹😹🦁🦁 #KittyLoafMonday #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is loafing on top of white crinkly paper which sits on a grey/silver/white rug. His front legs are tucked out of sight and hidden by his fluffy white chest fur. He’s looking at the camera with a slight downward gaze, presumably bewildered why the big idiot with the camera is on the floor looking back at him yet again 😹😹 Gizmo’s orange fur has a warm glow to it and his head has darker orange tabby style markings which look like they form the letter M. Long pointy ears with orange tips stand alert as ever! Part of a black plastic stick from a toy run along the bottom of the picture along with a thin piece of green string.

Top of the cat tree affords the best view of pesky birds flying around 😹😹🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat fills this picture as he sits on the top pillar of his cream coloured cat tree! We can see all 4 snow dipped paws with various white tufts of fluff coming out between his toe beans. His large pointy ears with their orange tips are standing to full attention as he focuses his green eyes to unseen action to the left. As the full sitting position is captured lots of detail in his coat can be seen as the white chest fur flows down into creamier orange while both are surrounded by full orange on his sides.

Gizmo loves to stretch out and show that Maine Coons are the ideal lap cat - if your lap is defined as most of your body 😹😹 Have a great weekend everyone! 🥳🥳🦁🦁 #jellybellyfriday #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

A picture looking from the side at Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat as he lies asleep while very stretched out on a large black blanket which is covered in small colourful orange, red, green, yellow, blue and purple heart shapes and spots. Gizmo covers the entire width of the picture - his tail and long back legs are on left, with his front legs stretching to the right. Mum is underneath the blanket so he’s covering her legs (and more!) completely. Side on we can see the colours ranging from the white on his back paws which go up a good part of the legs then he’s got creamier orange floof all the way along his body until a darker orange patch at his shoulders. He looks very happy and peaceful as he snoozes…not sure mum’s legs agree though 😹😹

Gizmo is most displeased he didn’t get the call to be in Gremlins 3 with his namesake who also has big ears - he’s great at hiding in bags too!! 😹😹🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

A picture of Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat popping his head out of a rucksack he’d decided to take over. The rucksack is a sort of rusty red colour with black strapping and a brown leather pouch at the front. Gizmo’s big old orange head goes well with the bag. He is looking to the right of the picture - his green eyes have large back pupils due to evening light and his large pointy ears have orange fur tips.

Although his face says otherwise here, Buddy was so patient with Gizmo’s habit of putting a paw on his head. Until he wasn’t 😹😹🥊🥊🦁🦁 #throwbackthursday #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

Buddy and Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cats lying together on a long pile grey rug. Gizmo is behind Buddy and has his left leg and paw draped on his brother’s head. This was a familiar thing Gizmo often did and Buddy tolerated it for a while before flipping over and removing Gizmo at high speed 😹😹 Both boys have long orange fur coats which appear to be blended together into one giant pile of floof. Buddy has a flat ear under the leg Gizmo has hung over him while Gizmo’s own ears are left alone to stand tall as always with their orange tips. Behind the boys is the old fireplace which has a black gas fire in the middle and various items on it - most special of which are the small round brown urns which contain the earthly remains of Bonnie and Clyde who paved the way for these two! A picture of B&C can be seen to the left of the memorials but it’s quite far away so you don’t see much detail. Bonnie was a calico/tortie mix with a brown cat and Clyde was mainly white with tabby patches.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is snuggled up on mum’s lap on top of a large black blanket which has colourful shapes including purple, red, orange, yellow and green on it. Mum has her left hand resting across Gizmo’s side as he faces away from the camera. His left leg is across her lap as they enjoy a cosy night in! The warm glow of the feature fireplace can be seen in the background.

Almost got the perfect #kittyloafmonday picture but Gizmo was too fast popping out his paw. It’s like he knew 😹😹🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

Close up with Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat who is looking left off camera. His large pointy ears with their famous orange tips are standing tall on the side of his big old Maine Coon noggin which has warm orange fur with darker orange tabby stripes and markings. Long white whiskers flow from above his eyes and his muzzle along with the sweeping snowy white fur of his chest coat. This covers part of his right leg but at the bottom right of the picture even the lengthy fur can’t hide the massive snow dipped paw at the end of said leg!

A large brown cardboard box is behind Gizmo along with a cream coloured pod on the side of his cat tree. A large window behind him to the right looks out to a white door on the outside of the house.

The roar of a conquering lion atop his latest throne 😹😹🦁🦁 #catboxsunday #teamfloof #catsofbluesky

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is proudly sat on top of a large brown cardboard box which is on the dark wood living room floor. The picture was taken in the evening and has a warm glow from various lamps and lights. There are silver curtains behind Gizmo and display shelving on the feature wall to his left. The upper unit has a red Lego Optimus Prime transformer in his upright robot form. A colourful Lego version of the house from the film Up is in the middle. The lower unit shows half of a sign with the word PALACE in large black letters. A pair of Jellycat plushies sit on top of the sign - a peach and a pair of cherries. A green Tiny Chef toy stands at the end of the sign. Gizmo himself is showing a mix of light orange and dark orange fur down his shoulders and side. Cute snow dipped front paws line up at the edge of the box and he has his mouth open in a mini roar signalling his conquering of the box!

I, Gizmo Stewart, do hereby accept this lovely new cosy blanket throw that mum got for her birthday 😹😹🦁🦁 #Caturday #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is nestled in a black blanket throw which has colourful spots in various colours like pink, purple, green, blue and red. The deepness of the black really brings out the orange in Gizmo’s coat as he surveys the world from his cosy spot. As always his large ears with their orange tips are reaching for the sky as his long luxurious fur swirls around the rest of his body. Behind Gizmo are two cushions - one grey/silver and a colourful striped one featuring sheep above it.

As usual Gizmo is living his best upside down life 😹😹 Have a great weekend everyone! 😸😸🦁🦁 #jellybellyfriday #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is lying upside down on a grey/silver/white rug. His head is on the right of the picture. We’re at floor level with him. He’s got his back legs wide open so his whole tummy is showing to the world - it’s a lengthy thing with lots of creamy white/orange fur. His back paws have much more snowy white fur than the front and we can see tufts of white poking out between pink toe beans.

Gizmo’s floofy tail is pointing back at the camera almost like a 3D effect. He’s not looking at the camera as his front paws are held up like a cartoon bunny 😹😹

Pod pals keeping an eye on things on the ground floor level. If it wasn’t for Gizmo’s ears you’d never know who was who here! 😹😹🦁🦁 #throwbackthursday #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

A throwback picture of Buddy and Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat brothers in separate pods on their cream coloured cat tree. Buddy is on the highest pod which is at the back and on the left of the picture as we look at it. Gizmo’s pod on the right is slightly lower. Both boys are looking out at the camera in pretty much the same position - we can see the ears on top of their heads and their eyes and that’s it! 😹😹 Even though this is all we see of them you can tell them apart by Gizmo’s ears which are larger than Buddy’s.

Behind the tree is light from a floor lamp and the edge of tall red curtains are to the right.

10 years of living with Gizmo and there are days he does stuff like this and I still can’t believe how big he is 😹😹🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is standing tall in the kitchen on a dark wooden next to mum. He is almost at full height and just as high as her waist although his large pointy ears and their orange tips take him just a little bit further than that. Mum is around 5ft 6/7 so this gives you context for how tall Gizmo is! As we are side on and he’s standing up we can see how his coat has darker orange parts and lightens in certain areas then darkens again. He has his snow dipped paws leaning against an open drawer on a pine wood kitchen unit.

There is a blue bag featuring a smiley face at Gizmo’s feet which reads “I have a feeling we’re going to become best friends”. We only see mum’s legs and she is wearing dark blue jeans.

A close up of Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat as he lounges on the back of the sofa. It’s covered by a silver/grey throw which matches nicely with the warm orange of his fur and the snowy white of his chest coat and the end of the left paw which is at the end of his outstretched leg. He has green eyes with narrow dark pupils as the sun has graced us with its presence today and large pointy ears head for the sky with their orange tips.

A #throwbackthursday reminder of just how spectacular Buddy’s tail was…bigger than a whole other cat! 🌈🌈🧡🧡🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

A picture of our much missed Buddy the Maine Coon cat lying on a striped red cushion on the back of a brown leather sofa. Buddy covers most of the cushion and it would probably be completely obscured if he was to pull up his massive floofy tail onto it! His tail is gangling down on the left side of the picture. It’s so large that it’s almost another Buddy. It’s around 18 inches long (possibly longer) and very wide thanks to being so floofy! The tail has a dark orange stripe from where it begins on his backside to about halfway down. Creamy orange fur surrounds it and then this itself fans out into patches of white towards the end of the tail. Buddy himself is a creamy orange floof machine with orange eyes.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is lying on his side on a grey/silver/white rug looking off to the right. He has his trusty brown furry rat toy next to his tummy. You can’t really tell it’s a rat but it’s got a nose and long furry tail! It’s laced with a scent that Gizmo loves so he likes to play lots with it. A long piece of red and white candy stripe string (he’s also a big fan of this stuff 😹😹) is tied around the toy so it can be dragged around the house by staff - stimulating Gizmo’s hunting instincts! Gizmo has brighter orange shoulder, face and leg fur, some of which is marked by darker orange tabby style stripes. At the end of his front legs are two giant snow dipped paws. The left one is turned on its side and we can see cute pink toe beans hiding in amongst even more snowy white fur! A brown leather corner unit sofa is in the background behind Gizmo.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is in the loaf position (front legs/paws tucked out of sight) on a grey/silver/white rug. In front of him is a cat toy which comes in the form of Superman! The red caped hero is lying on his face with Gizmo watching over him. Superman has black felt hair and a blue suit partially visible under his red cape. Up close with Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat although that should probably read creamy orange cat today as he relaxes on his back and exposes his long floofy belly! His tummy fur is long and luxurious and primarily creamy orange rather than the definitive orange of his head. Gizmo is peering at us upside down with green eyes and his right ear partially pinned to the grey/silver/white rug. His long white whiskers are flowing freely and we can also see his right front snow dipped paw pulled up cutely towards his face.

A picture of Buddy and Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cats wedged together on a plinth on their giant cream cat tree. As we look at them Gizmo is on the left and Buddy is on the right. The easy way to tell the difference here is to look at their paws. Both are snow dipped but Gizmo has dipped a little harder so his front paws have more white on them. The ears are the other usual tell but at this angle there’s not much in them. Both cats are looking down as if trying to figure out how to get unstuck because although it’s a wide plinth on a tree built for Maine Coons, it’s really meant to be one at a time! Behind the boys are red curtains which are closed as this picture was taken in the evening.

Happy happy birthday to our lovely mamma, the always awesome and fun lap provider we like to call @GoodMcDo! Love you!! 🥳🥳🧡🧡🦁🦁 #teamfloof

A head shot of Mum with Gizmo sitting together. Gizmo is on the right of the picture looking like a big floofy orange parrot on Mum’s shoulder. Mum is wearing her pink Barbie flood hoodie. It has white fur lining. Mum has blonde highlighted hair and is wearing glasses with a purple frame. She is smiling and showing her perfect white teeth!

A picture of mamma standing in the kitchen with maple syrup in her right hand and a stack of homemade American style pancakes (the big fluffy ones) in her left hand. She is wearing a grey top with a pink apron over it which says Prosecco Princess in white letters on the front. She has a big smile on her face and is looking very pleased with herself! Behind her is the dining room where we can see a dark wooden floor, light from two lamps in the back corners and a couple of framed pictures on the left wall.

Mum and her best human pal - Willow who is out about to turn three year old great niece! They are sitting together on a cream coloured sofa. Willow has a blue jump suit on and is leaning in to her favourite auntie who is wearing a grey jumper with black leggings. She is skid wearing a blue plastic Disney princess tiara which Willow has kindly allowed her to put on her head. Both have big smiles on their faces as they have fun together! Pink legs from a discarded dolly can be seen on the right. They’re don’t belong to Willow’s twin brother Jenson 😹😹

Mum looking absolutely beautiful in a white wedding dress she wore in Las Vegas while renewing her vows with Dadmin to celebrate 20 years married. It also took place on Dadmin’s 50th birthday! In this picture mum is with the king of rock and roll himself - Elvis Presley! He’s got trademark dark sunglasses on and a shiny gold jacket with white trim. Both have big smiles on their faces. A large heart made out of colourful flowers frames the shot.

A picture of Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat sitting up looking up at the camera on a grey/silver/white rug. He’s facing us so we can see his swish full snowy white chest coat as it cascades down his front. It’s surrounded by warm orange fur on all sides. His cute paws with their snow dipped toes are looking small for a change as the larger top half dominates the picture. Gizmo has what you’d call a quizzical look on his face - his right eye is very slightly shut so it looks like he’s partially squinting. His long white whiskers add an extra element of playfulness. The look may be to get on with brushing or playing with him. Surrounding Gizmo on the rug are a purple fabric mouse with a really long tail (bottom left), a toothbrush (above the mouse) which is used to give him tiny head brushing with water when it’s warm and brown ratta toy is to the left.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is in the loaf position (front paws tucked away) on top of a brown cardboard box. We are quite close so his giant dome fills most of the picture. He appears stern as he narrows his green eyes at the camera but that’s sometimes just how he looks - he’s a big playful thing! His orange fur has a warm glow and his large pointy ears are stealing the show today - they are easily 2-3 inches high and tipped with orange fur. Gizmo’s forehead has darker orange tabby style markings which appear to form the letter M. Long white whiskers flow from his muzzle as he loafs!

Saw this one from 2020 in my Buddy album and just had to share it for #throwbackthursday. What a boy. Handsome, floofy and cute as a button 🧡🧡🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

A portrait shot of our much missed Buddy the Maine Coon cat who is looking down on us from a cream plinth on his cat tree. He looks very much like a lion here with his golden orange fur and mane formed by sweeping orange fur from his shoulders and his puffed out snowy white chest coat. Hanging over the ledge of the plinth are two perfect paws which have a little touch of snowy white fur and the same golden orange as his face. And speaking of his face it’s a very cute one looking at us. He always had a more kitten like look through his life and his eyes were orange rather than Gizmo’s green. His ears are large but set wider apart and not quite as tall as his brother’s. They still had the amazing orange tips.

Your trusty photographer has turned the camera to the side slightly to give a fun angle to the picture. One of the fun things this does is to show Gizmo’s front and back snow dipped paws in a row so it makes it look like they’ve been neatly lined up! 😹😹 Gizmo is looking down the camera with his green eyes fixed on us and large pointy ears with their orange tips alert as ever.

Gizmo has claimed another chair for his collection. Mum is allowed on it at agreed times as per the standard schedule 😹😹 Happy #Caturday everyone! 😸😸🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is sitting on the left arm of a single seater cream cosy chair with brown speckles which resides in a room upstairs. He’s leaning forward so has his head up while his floofy orange backside is parked further back. Around Gizmo in the room there’s a small white chest of drawers with a pine top which has a lamp in the form of a beige bear holding up the cream shade. Two qualification certificates in gold frames belonging to mum are fixed to the wall to right and in the middle there’s a window looking out to green trees in the garden. As Gizmo’s head is leaning down slightly we get a good look at the darker orange tabby markings on his forehead which have a diamond like shape in the middle surrounded by vertical lines.

I think Gizmo has spent more of his life upside down than not…he loves it! And don’t be worried - it’s never a trap, he actively encourages belly rubs and keeps his claws in 😹😹 Have a great weekend pals! 😸😸🦁🦁 #JellyBellyFriday #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is lying on his back looking up at the camera from a grey/silver/white rug. His head is at the bottom of the picture and his tail is a short train ride away at the top of the shot! 😹😹 His tummy floof is very long and is a creamy orange mix rather than the warmer orange of his other side. Gizmo has his back legs apart and front paws pulled into his chest as he relaxes in one of his favourite positions. Next to his tail is his latest Lego box and a circular marine turned play mat featuring blue water and colourful fish in various yellow, red and blues. Gizmo is always happy to receive belly rubs and doesn’t attack when a hand approaches - he’s very friendly!

Back to 2018 and it was at this point we realised the lions had outgrown yet another cat tree 😹😹🦁🦁 #throwbackthursday #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

A picture from 2018 of Buddy and Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cats lounging on a cream coloured cat tree which they had outgrown! Again! Buddy is on the middle platforms and has his head and shoulders popping out of the side of a cubby hole while his back end and massive tail pop out the other. He almost looks like a magician’s assistant waiting to be sawn in half 😹😹 Gizmo is on the level above and both his sweeping fur and his legs are dangling over the edge. He’s got one snow dipped front paw placed on another platform on the right as we look at him while his back leg hangs down behind him. Both boys have majestic orange coats with white chest fur.

Lap time! And a look that says “your snack is my snack, them’s the rules in Casa Gingie” 😹😹🦁🦁 #WhiskerWednesday #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is lying on a pink Barbie cosy hooded top and having a lovely time! The pink works well with his orange and white colouring, it’s a very complimentary look! Soft orange fur sweeps down from the side of his head where it joins even more fur. His white chest fur acts as a middle ground. Gizmo’s face has darker orange tabby style markings and patches of white around his muzzle which is the point of departure for his epic long white whiskers as they leave his face and spread out into the world! His big pointy ears are lined with light cream fur and topped with orange tips.

Gizmo is in observe and report mode today. No birds immediately obvious but a bush next door made a suspicious movement in the wind so warrants careful monitoring 😹😹🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

It’s a grey day here so Gizmo has opted to have a snooze in his box with a roaring (fake) fire behind him 😹😹🦁🦁 #catboxsunday #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

Once again his lordship has the sofa and Dadmin is on the floor making sure Gizmo is looking great from all angles! Have a great #Caturday pals! 😸😸🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

In this picture we’re looking up at Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat. Or should that be he’s looking down at us? It was taken from the floor as Giz relaxes on top of mum’s pink Barbie branded fluffy hooded top. He’s fixed on us with green eyes, with large pointy ears facing front and a look that says we might be in trouble if we looked like prey! 😹😹 His long front legs stretch down towards us and are finished off by huge snow dipped floofy paws. Behind Gizmo to the right is a colourful striped cushion featuring three black faced sheep. The stripes which can be seen are (in order from left to right) yellow, pink, green and orange. A large circular wall clock can be seen behind Gizmo to the right.

Temperatures are a little down here in Scotland after a warm week so Gizmo has opened up his floofy tummy to catch some cooler air! Have a great weekend everyone! 😸😸🦁🦁 #JellyBellyFriday #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is lying on his side on a grey/silver/white rug. He has his stripey front legs stretched out like the bottom half of the letter X. We can see one snow dipped paw at the end of his left leg. Each leg has a mix of orange, darker orange tabby stripes and creamy white fur. Which is much like the expanse of tummy floof on display - this fur is very long and very soft and it’s primarily creamy fur with orange mixed in. Gizmo’s head is looking downwards in the picture - his eyes look black rather than their usual green but it’s just a trick of the light!
