Monitoring the air quality in my bedroom in a 2 storey terrace house in 🇮🇪. Different times however at both instances there was cooking happening at the downstairs kitchen. Windows opened and extraction fan "on" on the left side and right side none. Make sure you ventilate when 🍳 #airquality #IAQ💨

Presented some preliminary results on my research work at the UKIEG's Annual conference. The results for final PM2.5 Concentrations shows that if a room has a larger external wall surface area it will have higher PM2.5 concentration arising from outdoor sources in a detached single floor bungalow.

I had the opportunity to attend @eua.eu s CDE conference this week at the @uniofgalway.bsky.social. A key takeaway was on the importance of societal engagement and reframing the doctoral structure to support the doctoral candidates to transfer to non academic careers after their PhDs. #Phdstructure

Thank you @smartairuk.bsky.social for the QP pro air quality monitor. Recently I saw the PM2.5 levels spiking up in my bedroom.Only to see one of the housemates was cooking (deep frying) without any windows opened or the kitchen extract fan on. Reminder to open the window and have the IMF on when 🍳.

We celebrate @goaqs.bsky.social plan for Schools which is a global intervention to transform school environments from passive shelters to active health-protective zones. This strategy is based on stringent air quality standards being maintained at levels that protect the most Clinically Vulnerable.
