“We aren’t fascists” is not a long term platform. I understand state races vary by what is and isn’t electable, but on a national level “hope and change” is finally going to have to be more than aspirational. And that starts with a genuine internal criticism and a commitment to self correction.

In 2022, being retired, I took a three month 11,000 road trip across America, to see the sites, and having the novel under my belt, to unscientifically test out some of the theories espoused. It was, IMO, uncannily accurate. Lots of non touristy small town layovers. It was eye opening.
