Last week was good but so much scaffolding work. My legs need to de-jellify this weekend. I was harnessed in. Was relatively safe.

Good weekend so far. Set up at the local farmers market and had a several braid conversations. Took a quick walk at the Basha Kill Wetlands and treated myself to a sundae.

Went to Hillside last weekend. Had an amazing time. Nice to hang out with likeminded guys and get to wear some gear.

I pierced by septum when I was around 30. For whatever reason, I never felt confident wearing it out. Kept it open with a retainer. Maybe I’m getting to an age where I can’t be bothered, but there is something to be said about not standing in your own way. Like or hate it, it’s for me, not others.

Been a busy week. I’m tired and exhausted. Counting down the day until Leather Decadence weekend at Hillside Campground on June 26th. Looking forward to relaxing in my tent for a couple nights.

Had my first rope suspension experience and can’t even tell you how fabulous it was for me. But the mark left makes me proud.

There are a lot of lessons to be learned in nature. If you stay coiled up and resist unfurling, you are robbing yourself the opportunity to grow. Be more tomorrow than you were yesterday. Whether this is in your thinking, body, job, relationships....there's always an option to become more.

Barefoot foot in the garden. We had a freeze this morning, and mud season is hanging on despite the reservoirs being low.

Took a quick trip to NYC to see friends. I lived there for 19 years. I no longer enjoy being in the city and that make me sad. But as a friend said to me this morning as I was swelling on my emotions: “You wrote that chapter. Time for a new one.”

I would have loved to stay home today, but trying to wrap up some odd jobs before holiday markets start. Had to reset tiles around a fireplace insert which is smaller than the old one.
