One of my friends started playing Dressmaker today and I demanded they make a dress for me but they couldn't because they hadn't gotten to the creative mode yet so I had to do what any man would do in this situation and draw one myself from scratch. Obviously.

I want to make it quick and messy if I can, and to tap into my emotions to visualize my thoughts and feelings and create something much more unique

I've been changing my approach to my art in the past few days and it has been extremely refreshing. I used to have pretty high expectations of myself, and had basically been trying to stick to doing, frankly pretty basic character illustrations with the approach that I wanted "clean looking artwork"

Kind of mild blood / #gore warning: there's a lot of poorly rendered blood on this one, but it kind of looks like jam so it's whatever I fucked up batket because I loev him

I originally left this one as a w.i.p. but after deciding that actually, I can't be bothered to do anything else with this, you get to see him as is. At the very least I'm glad to have been able to try a slightly different artstyle that came out looking a bit more unique than my other works!

I drew my Terraria character named Bonk! He's very deviantArt and I love him for it. He's half fox, half creeper, an excellent mage and a professional fisherman in his free time

Here's the Batket design I'm settling on for now! His colours and choice of clothing needed a lot of iteration but I think he looks really nice now

Batket... I guess kind of T-posing at the camera but um. I was mostly doing that for his cape to drape down a bit, I didn't think it would look like a T-pose that was not my intention but I guess it works

More bat sketches! I'm really liking the design so far personally

Not at all related to yesterday's post but anyway, I doodled a pigron Bucket. Pigron from Terraria, the enemies that are pig dragons. Not the boss that is also a fish I couldn't decide which of the two jackets I like more so you get both!

I called this one Victory Lap because it's one more attack after what I thought would be my final one + it's the name of a game mechanic in The Binding of Isaac (which Bazel is inspired from) where you basically continue your run after it's supposed to end, so it seemed extremely fitting.

I've been posting these so out of order but anywayyy The first attack I made for art fight this year was of Coozoo (and his roommate Cactooze) from Htenthealien2006 I was told he loves to swear in Peruvian but I'm not from Peru so I got it slightly incorrect lol my bad

A collection of drawings of Coozoo (no idea what species this is, some kind of ball of fur)
He is seen smoking a fat blunt, then saying "Fuck" out loud, then chilling laying down on his back, then swearing at someone off screen saying "Hijo de PERRA" (which allegedly translates to son of a bitch but this may be inaccurate)
Then he's seen eating a sandwich with the caption "How does he eat?" next to him
Then there's a drawing of his cactus roommate Cactooze who is looking through their shelves and says "We're out of bread AGAIN?"
Next to him there's a Suspiciously Bread Shaped Coozoo that says "huh, that's so weird"
