Big props to the sound design. Really good realistic/zany balance.

You are not alone. I'd take bus over the Tardis though, more friend shaped.

Bulging exhaust pipes/engines.

That's Ralph Bakshi's MO for the most part. He also did Cool World, which was pure insanity.

Fun things to imagine willing characters go in. Creating bulges as they're bounced around by the inner workings.

Bubs McRace @bubsmcrace.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

What happens when they get to the engine? Does it bulge too?

The energy sector has yet to come up with cream power.

They talk about it as if they're going to use dark magic to raise the dead.

Part of my online account is funny pipe shenanigans, which are just metal tubes.

Warm weather+Mowing=Not a good mix.

The bulge on the exhaust is really good.

This might be the most adorable military vehicle I've ever seen.

Of all the race car diecasts I have, this is one of my favorites. Just a simple, local/regional late model stock car.

I'm in a cartoon exhaust pipe kinda mood today.

I do like me some obscure cars based on not obscure ones. This is a body kit for a Mercedes, for instance.

Always like it when Anime is not afraid of being cartoony.

This is a fun little comic I commissioned from Siberat about a year ago. I intend to commission a sequel piece to it.

This was taken a while ago at Gilmore Car Museum. They had vintage racers and Cruis'n USA in the same room!

That scene made me appreciate toony bendy physics, ie the bulge traveling down the pipe.

Oh, old Disney, when putting alcohol references in cartoons was acceptable.

It's sad how this franchise has fallen. I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan but I can respect the property.

I LOVE when houses or buildings start dancing in cartoons.

This is just too dern adorable, my favorite cartoon car simply because of it's movements throughout the show.

I think that boat/ship exhausts are a bit underrated. Here's a comic i commissioned to show the potential:

Saw an Autobot just the other day at the museum!

Bonus points if the exhaust bulges before backfiring.
