I really like the English in Victorian literature. It's far back enough to be interesting, but still not too difficult to understand. I study Shakespeare, and while the language is super fascinating, it takes up so much more time if I don't have a translation on hand 🥲 Early modern English is hard 😩

Would make so much more sense grammar wise while conveying the same information. Perhaps there's the slightest bit of difference in nuance, but I don't think it's worth making the sentence sound odd?? 😭 That's why it bugs me lol like what am I missing 🫠

Oh it's in my native language 😅 to keep it simple, there was a specific grammatical case used for this one nominal-form verb that I reckon is technically correct if the authors were aiming for something VERY specific, but I just don't get why they chose that instead of another case that +

That's how it should be done anyway 😂 I don't really like to run on the treadmill but at least it helps keep the pace even. I don't do incline, if I'm outside I like hills though. Been thinking of running more but I'm scared of my knee getting worse 🫠

For CZ I had no outline to work with and only had like two core scenes I tried to work toward. With In Flames I have a general direction that's semi clear in my head, and it feels more feasible to reach a solid conclusion without the need to retcon. But we'll see how I feel about it after editing 😂

Yeah I prefer finishing the whole writing process before editing/posting, but with this one, since the first chapter is already out, I might post as I go! It does take a lot of self control to keep everything to myself, but I'm scared of having to lock in every decision with no chance to go back 🫠

I went to the doc earlier this year to have it checked out (it crunches like crazy and feels weaker to just step on than the other + there's pain sometimes) and the doc laughed at me and did nothing. I'm supposed to go to physio but haven't had the time. I'd also love to love the gym 😂
