Trump has made it abundantly clear that he has no interest in being a leader. His only interest is being a ruler. Your president should feel like they work for you, not that you work for them. Otherwise, even if they're "your" candidate, your side still isn't winning. Only your ruler is.

Just after college I worked in the circulation department at a newspaper. If a person's paper wasn't delivered, I'd have to peruse a giant wall map and memorize the route (with tons of rural addresses like N56W28750 Rando Road). Sometimes multiple houses and routes in one trip. No Google Maps.

I tore through this Elizabeth Strout novel in just a few days. May be the best thing I’ve read in years. It’s as sad as it is uplifting. Such a personal “everyday” story filled with so much mid-life introspection. This won’t soon leave me. Boy would I love to see this adapted into a small film.
