I just finished "Inside No. 9" for the first time. It's the sort of show I'm annoyed at myself for not discovering sooner... There's barely an outright dud in the whole 55-ep anthology. The show often left me staring at the wall for a time... "Wise Owl" will stick with me. #InsideNo9 #BBC

Just saw “Backrooms” after marathoning Parsons’ original series…
Very solid, though I think perhaps the Internet’s particular brand of cosmic horror monster doesn’t translate very well to cinema. Maybe best seen on a smaller screen alone in the dark in the liminal space between night and sunrise.

Haunter is criminal... 🥲 (On a similar note, the Pokémon also used to really move when idle in battle. The models placed a more realistic distance apart with a full 3D environment as background you would assume looks better, but it almost creates an uncanny valley effect; they... just stand there.)

Something I mourn the loss of in Pokémon games; the vibrant, deep colouring when the series shifted to 3D. For example, Hoppip changing from a deep hot pink to a paler pastel, and Blastoise now looking washed out compared to its dark blue appearance in Gen III. #pokemon #nintendo #pixelart

Yay! Hall of Fame! (I do not recommend this team, its coverage is terrible but I am proud I found a way to make it work.) #pokemon #firered #pokemonfrlg

This book has been pretty dull so far, but there’s no way I could have predicted this unintentionally hilarious line after that paragraph. #books #reading #booksky

Setting a 2026 reading goal of 50 books, knowing I have never once come close, already three books behind schedule and being kind of a slow reader, at this point is a little delusional... But I need to get my act together. app.thestorygraph.com/profile/btni... #readinggoal #reading #booksky #books

What the…? We’ve all seen footage of Trump rallies. Not exactly fitness influencers, they look like typical overweight Americans.

What are your reading goals this year? I need to get through those books gathering dust on my shelf that I’ve had for 15+ years and still have yet to read… app.thestorygraph.com/profile/btni...

Just finished reading: “Simon vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda” by Becky Albertalli. Simply adorable. The film “Love, Simon” differs from the plot of the novel quite a lot... app.thestorygraph.com/reviews/6610...

Elected politicians are far worse at this job than if you chose random people off the street to solve climate change. So we should do just that! en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citizen...

Every so often a story like this comes up and it reminds me they actually still make new episodes of 'The Simpsons', which I always forget despite being a lifelong fan... #TheSimpsons
