It's a video game soundtrack I never thought I would play on repeat (Not anymore because I got tired of it 😅). 🎸🎶🤘🤘 I occasionally listen to the soundtrack whenever I'm walking. Not just the metal bits, but the EDM and piano bits too. And walking is something I do almost every day.

I'm sure people would love to see Shey's mystery box be filled with more-complete artwork! I'm sure participating in collabs would be fun! 🖼️ "One task at a time" is what everyone reminds me when I procrastinate and don't get anything done. Pardon my D-word if you're offended. Force of habit. 😅

Oh my, more sketches! You have a (positively 👍) unstable addiction to drawing the boy. 😂 Damn, I just bought two of those books, and now I gotta anticipate more on the horizon! 📖 (But seriously, you should probably stay focused on your tasks, so that you can have fun sooner. No rush, though. 😅)

Despite never fully completing it yet, I love it too! An explorable Sonic world is something I've wanted for a long time (And as a fan of Metal and EDM, the soundtrack is beautiful 🎸🎹🎛️)! If graphics and performance are your main concern, I'd play it safe and get the PS5 version.

Durable hardcover supremacy! 😉👍 They look and FEEL very beautiful! ✨ I still think what you got is insane for what you paid for. 🪎

010

B. Bear @bthebear.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

I would say the PS5 version is better. The extra content won't survive the irrelevancy apocalypse, but neither will a digital game. I haven't heard anything too bad about the PS5 version. I've been wanting to try it myself due to my urge to finally complete the game and my laptop showing its age.

110

B. Bear @bthebear.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

Posters and bookmarks, for every single volume? That's cool! I kinda want one! 😅👍 The IDW Collections don't have any of that, but it does have pages of what appears to be alternative cover art as well as a built-in yellow bookmark strap. (My hand for size comparison)

I mean if it's playable with little issues, then it could be worth it if you wanna play a less buggy version. I can't fully criticize it for being digital only because I own the Steam version. Saying so would make me a hypocrite. But I do prefer physical media (I have a physical PS5 copy too).

6 Volumes per pack, and they're almost half off? Is that because it's a different publisher who published these or am I missing something else? 😯

100

B. Bear @bthebear.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

If the game and its extra content are not on a physical cartridge and there's no Switch 2 upgrade for the Switch 1 version, does the Switch 2 version at least run better? No texture pop-ins, no frame rate drops, no glitches, etc...?

B. Bear @bthebear.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

I kinda would like a definitive release for PS5 and XBOX SRS X/S, with all the content burnt onto the disc instead of having a key code, even though that sounds like a cheap cash grab. I support preservation (Except when it's executed poorly).

100

B. Bear @bthebear.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

I wish that statement was still true. The game was pulled from Steam a few years ago... FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

100

B. Bear @bthebear.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

Licensing, am I right? In all honesty, I didn't mind the use of songs from other Crazy Taxi games. Actually, it was a little refreshing to not have a soundtrack only consisting of The Offspring and Bad Religion. But I agree that THAT song IS the theme song... YA YA YA YA YA!!!!!!!!!!

120

B. Bear @bthebear.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

Wait, why am I surprised to see Sonic tolerating that? He's tolerated things like that before! Still, I wanna know how it turns out for him.

100

B. Bear @bthebear.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

You should be the official Portuguese translator for these comics at IDW! Then you guys won't be missing out on shiny foil covers (hopefully)! 👍 The covers for Scrapnik Island look spooky... I LIKE that! 🎃👻 I have many questions about what you think of it all, but I shouldn't spoil it for myself. 🥲

It is nice not having to bite your nails while waiting for the excitement to continue. 💗😰 The Metal Virus and Sonic Riders arcs (#69-75 I believe) are what I'm most excited about. I love Sonic Riders, and am curious as to how Sonic can calmly tolerate his flesh being turned into a foreign material.

110

B. Bear @bthebear.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

How long does it usually take to see the comics translated in Portuguese, assuming that's your preferred language?

100

B. Bear @bthebear.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

I am going in blind, starting from #1. I haven't read any of them. My interest sparked thanks to Sonic's 35th b-day. Oh boy, this is gonna be a journey. I am slow at reading... It's weird. I have a promotional cover variant of #1 from when Sonic Movie 2 came out, but I never bothered to read it.

110

B. Bear @bthebear.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

I ended up buying the collections like you said. I'll still need to buy the mainline issues, volumes and whatever spinoffs that were released after these collections to keep up with the current releases. Thank you! I can start loosening up my FOMO... 🫂

I have an art project I wanna finish before Oct 31st. I too am worried I won't get it done by then (life and work). I can get a good visual on what's happening in this sketch. I think it's good that you at least showed a sketch on the blue boy's b-day. Better late than never, but it does feel sad.

I had a FOMO moment... thinking that I should be reading these comics in order to keep up with the fandom, then thinking that these comics wouldn't be available anymore after a certain time. Archie Sonic is understandably in that position, being killed 9 years ago (R.I.P.). (3/3)

000

B. Bear @bthebear.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

I never got into collecting comic books. But now that Sonic is 35, with a Sonic music tour on the horizon, and we're about to see a Sonic X Godzilla collaboration be published... Have I been missing out on the comic side of Sonic, especially with how popular they are? (2/3)

B. Bear @bthebear.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

To anyone who can inform me on Sonic The Hedgehog comics: I would like to obtain some physical form of every single IDW Sonic comic (and Archie if possible) without having a stack of books to worry about or spend months finding delisted comics. Are there any absolute complete compilations? (1/3)

you to order a commission. They could: - Ignore your requests to change the sketch the way you wanted them to. - Trace over other artist's art and turning it into a Frankenstein creation. - Take your money and run!

However, I can't do this for everyone. I have to be careful who I give money to. It's not just secret A.I. artists, but also artists who put little to no effort into their 'made from scratch with care' art. This is usually the case when people come to you in DMs and ask (beg)-
