My stepdad JP died yesterday. Meditating on it, he’s largely responsible for my taste in movies and books. He saw no issues with me watching The Shining or Casino w/ him when I was like 7. I was so young when he and my mom started dating that I don’t have memories from before he was in my life… RIP

I finally have Kanopy again 🥲 If you live in Texas and your public library system doesn’t partner with Kanopy (like Dallas), you can use your Texas driver license to apply for an eCard with the Houston Public Library and then sign in to Kanopy with that! A Dallas librarian tipped me off 🙏🏼
