I'd probably say these are my favorite Cartoon Network shows at the moment; figure I'd do this for today since it's the channel's anniversary

The scene that's used for possibly my favorite template on ESB, lmao

What is the point if this many categories are left out of the broadcast?

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I feel that this release plan makes no sense, considering that "Kreepaway Kamp" and the Christmas TV movie releasing later this year both get P+ releases on the same day as the Nick premiere, but they waited until now with this one?

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

They're making this a much bigger deal than they should be tbh, again focusing on the wrong things. It's important to note that there's some notable media that aren't available on streaming services, especially considering the removals most of them have had the last few years.

030

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

It's definitely one of the most important shows in Nickelodeon, and I'd argue animation in general, history. The show still holds up really well today, it's very funny, and plenty of episodes are memorable.

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Nintendo is lowkey the funniest company ever in doing this; although I also don't blame them given that this is their 2nd best selling game ever. I feel really tempted to try out the 96-race VS mode soon, lmao

030

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Kinda surprised honestly it took until now, considering the NickRewind channel on YouTube is obsessed with that show along with iCarly, and how popular this show is in general; I'd imagine it's because of the spin-off Hollywood Arts coming out soon though.

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Today's #SpongeBob premiere is a milestone in a way, since the show has now premiered 100 times at the 5 pm Eastern timeslot on Nick, which the most at any time of the day. The stats nerd in me finds this really interesting to keep track of, lol.

Here's my tier list for #TheSimpsons season 37. This season's about on par with season 36 for me (maybe a bit weaker since S36 had better best episodes imo). The show is doing fairly well nowadays I'd say, still a good amount of enjoyable outings, and I liked the specials as well.

A: The Day of the Jack-Up, Yellow Mirror, Keep Chalm and Gary On, Thrifty Ways to Thieve Your Mother
B: Bart N' Frink, Aunt Misbehavin', Treehouse of Horror XXXVI, Extreme Makeover: Homer Edition, Simpsley, ¡The Fall Guy-Yi-Yi!
C: Irrational Treasure, Sashes to Sashes, Parahormonal Activity, Seperance, Homer? A Cracker Bro?
D: Guess Who's Coming to Skinner, Bad Boys... for Life?
E: Men Behaving Manly

Honestly, most of their early-to-mid 2010s ones sucked (there's a fair few to choose from there), and Fairly Odder definitely counts as one as well.

030

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

The fact that this show is 20 years old next year is honestly terrifying. Either way, this is a goated show and definitely one of my all-time favorites.

Thread of my favorite episodes of Nicktoons I have fully watched through, with it being the 35th anniversary of the first Nicktoons:

My favorite is probably obvious, but others that I have fully watched through that I really enjoy too are The Fairly OddParents, Hey Arnold!, Rocko's Modern Life, My Life as a Teenage Robot, and ChalkZone.

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

Also, the end of this episode features a dedication to Andy Paley, the producer of this album, and who worked on plenty of songs in the franchise before he unfortunately passed away almost 2 years ago. This episode in general is a pretty wild one and I think it's a fairly neat tribute to him.

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 31/07/2026

Part of me is a bit surprised this didn't happen sooner, even taking 3D All-Stars into account, but I guess there are now 2 ways for each of the games in that collection to be played now on Switch systems, lol.

070

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

Also mentioned is a screening of the original version of "Help Wanted." As far as Brian Miller, he's a pretty notable figure in animation, having worked on production for plenty of Nickelodeon and CN shows. For SpongeBob, he was there for the production of season 1 and early season 2.

060

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

I guess this marks the big release for the "official" anniversary date, since it's now July 17. This album has (most of) the songs featured on The Patrick Star Show, so it gives that show some more spotlight. Also apparently, the songs on this release are extended for longer than in the episodes...

"Verify your age" I was born when Super Mario Sunshine just released or is about to release, depending on the region.

070

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

At least from mid season 1 (first half of season 1 I'd say is more mixed), I think this show proved a worthy addition to the franchise; it manages to be entertaining and funny in its own way, and uses its more insane nature and higher energy to its advantage.

150

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

I haven't gotten around to playing this game due to various reasons, but I'm honestly glad it was supported for a good while. Considering the Booster Course Pass and mods for other games, it has definitely left its legacy in the series.

130

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

Honestly deserving tbh; round of 16 curse strikes again Just disappointing since the USA team looked pretty good most of this tournament, but they played awfully tonight. And of course over the weekend, you-know-who made events all about him

140

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Looks like we will be getting this in 2 weeks, with today's news having broke out.

050

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

I'm pretty sure with Kids Next Door and Billy and Mandy, their creators had ideas for revivals in mind that were brought up for a while, but were never followed through on. So I'm not sure I entirely buy this, considering some of the classic shows could use the same attention as the modern ones.

0100

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

That's definitely... something interesting to know... Truth be told, I have no clue how this would've played out, for better or for worse.

030

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 15/06/2026

Undoubtedly one of the most memorable kids' cartoons of all-time, and definitely one of my favorites. Its writing is impressive, it's really funny a good amount of the time, and the characters are all great as well. It's one of those shows that really feels timeless imo.

181

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

One of my favorites from CN, I love this show! It pulls off the more twisted tone really well, it's hilarious through-and-through, and most of the episodes are really creative and get quite insane.

040

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

I'm probably gonna be so cooked for sleep tonight, can't believe it's actually happened

0100

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 13/06/2026

Now they released an updated promo, lol Looks like they're reusing the "Summer of F.U.N." branding from last year, but there should be a lot more summer premieres this time; last year's premieres were only in June.

170

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

Seems it's showing the deleted scene, ooh boy

050

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

Today marks the (U.S.) premiere of season 17 (second half of season [or "cycle"] 15 in terms of production). I thought it would've made sense for them to have an updated promo, but there isn't one for some reason. Either way, 334 is premiering before 333, which I think will most likely be in July.

040

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

Also, that Nick press schedule sheet previously said that season 5 (production season 3) would be The Patrick Show's last season, which with the show having been renewed today, should probably be enough to make clear that is not the definitive source to use at all times for upcoming news.

050

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

The SB Instagram post with this news also included a video response to the "Patrick is leaving the show" rumors, that I honestly find kinda funny

082

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

Really good update, I'm definitely happy they made the best solution for this

060

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

The main standouts of the season for me are "Go Fetch!" (obviously), "SpongeBob TrashPants," "Pigskin Pearl," and "Stupor-stition." "Go Fetch!" has really stunning CG and lots of great action, "SpongeBob TrashPants" has very fun animation and lots going on, "Pigskin Pearl" is a really neat...

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

It's kinda funny to me that even with their overwhelming pre-movie selection, the pairing that has Band Geeks doesn't seem to be on that list. I find it rather ironic considering the popularity of that episode was made extremely obvious over time.

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

Death threats aren't warranted by any means, but it does feel as though he's deflecting from the bigger issue here with the response in general, especially considering his previous stances.

Super unfortunate, he was a great VA; particularly his performances on Powerpuff Girls I found to be really memorable.

070

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

It took until the middle of May, but we are finally getting new episodes of SpongeBob. Even though this episode (and the rest of the remaining season 16 episodes) have already been released digitally in New Zealand a few months ago, I'm definitely happy to see that they're finally airing in the U.S.

050

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

This game was definitely one of the things that made my childhood; actually mind-blowing it's 20 years now. Still one of my favorites to this day, I thoroughly love this game. The level design in this game I'd say is really strong, and it is hugely important for later games in the franchise.

Premiere (original): 8 Ended (original): 14 Premiere (Lost Tapes): 23

060

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 12/05/2026

I'm really liking #RegularShow The Lost Tapes so far. I think it manages to recapture the feel of the original show so far, with aspects from the earlier seasons and the later seasons being utilized well. The first episode is great setup, and the episodes afterwards have lots of fun moments.

080

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 09/05/2026

There's a new promo from Nick UK for their #SpongeBob episode batch at the end of this month; some footage from The Nerds and The SquarePants Method are in here

030

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 08/05/2026

Between Mrs. Puff and this, I'm willing to bet they didn't actually watch much of SpongeBob or Simpsons to really get an idea of how the characters actually are. Which is pretty ridiculous considering these are two of the biggest cartoons of all-time, but you never know with this government :|

070

BSpongeSM02 @bspongesm02.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

The weird thing about this promo is that Patrick Show was not shown here; recent info surfacing indicates it's also premiering new episodes (in the same half-hour as SpongeBob). Don't know why both shows are only airing one segment, Nick's scheduling makes no sense, but there's that.
