Welp with all that chaos over with, I guess I'm gonna go back to my grind

Blade95 | Kirby Air Riders arc @bspd95.bsky.social · 10h

That's putting it mildly... There was also an insane amount of political sht in there. Like come on this is about a talking blue hedgehog, he don't give a sht about politics

There's an official Sonic The Hedgehog discord server? Hmm, as a proud Sonic fan, I'm gonna have to pass. I'd rather not deal with the extra noise, if you know what I mean. I'll just sit in my corner

A kid walked up to me when I was on my lunch break at work today and playing Air Riders on my Switch 2. Deadass, they looked at my screen, saw Rick the Hamster, and asked "is that Mario Kart?" I cringed a little lol, but I just told them, it's better than Mario Kart. Kids today don't know peak smh

Anyway, I agree with Games Cage... more collabs between Nintendo and Sonic Team would be the better idea than just outright owning the IP

It still boggles my mind hearing this. Why would they cancel their most popular IP? Their answer to Mario in the 90's I would be absolutely pissed if Sonic got axed

I have no idea, but like I've said before, these people only continue to prove the "angry YouTubers" points. They are no better than any other fandom or company but I can't really do much else besides call it out. So I'm just going to leave it there with those people

I'm just gonna mute the thread. I had a feeling I was gonna get people coming in to defend Nintendo and I did, all because I expressed concern about a franchise I care about a lot

Just because I like one thing from Nintendo doesn't mean I'm a fan of the whole company. I can like something without being a fan of the company "Stereotypes" that are proven to keep being true btw

that is the most tone deaf response I have ever heard of to axe amazing fan projects. SAGE wouldn't exist if Sonic was in the hands of Nintendo. Sonic Mania wouldn't exist. Keep Sonic out of the way of this shtty company good Lord
