🧑‍💻 Custom Appview and Image CDN Lastly, you can set a custom Appview (i.e when there's an outage), and a custom Image CDN The 1st one works by attaching the "atproto-proxy" header to the requests made to your PDS, which then uses the specified appview Image CDN will rewrite all image requests

🎥 Video controls You will see two extra buttons in any video player in Bluesky. The first one allows you to change the playback speed, from 0.5x to 2x. With the second one, you can enable Picture in Picture mode, so you can keep scrolling while watching the video.

📝 Saved Posts browser Adds search functionality to the normal Saved page. You can search by post content, media type, author, and date of saving. Because the bookmarks API doesn't allow searching, they are synced in your browser storage. It takes little space even for 1000s of saved posts

✏️ Edit posts The much requested feature that Bluesky will never officially have Adds new button in the 3-dot menu of posts you sent in the last 10 minutes. You can only edit once! 💻 The post rkey is kept, and the original post text is saved in the post record, but the posting time will change

🤖 ALT text generation There is two options for this: OCR: runs locally in your browser. Perfect for text screenshots LLM: a model of your choice will describe the image. Just set the endpoint (any /chat/completions url), api key and model in extension settings. You can set a custom prompt too!

📝 Thread unrolling Sometimes you wish people wrote more blogs and less 52-post-long-threads, right? When opening a post of a thread, you will have a new button at the top, next to the normal post view settings. Click it and the thread will be unrolled into a single view. Before/after:

Let's go over some of the extension features! ✨ Emoji picker 🚀 Much like in Slack and other chat applications, write a colon (:) followed by the name of the emoji and you will get an inline picker. Some emojis have fuzzy matching, so typos won't matter 😉

These are all the features we added!

Bsky+ adds 12 extra features to Bluesky:

- Edit posts: fix a typo in your own posts. The post keeps its link.
- Emoji autocomplete: type a colon and pick any emoji. Typos are fine.
- One-click alt text: on-device OCR generates alt text for your images.
- AI image descriptions: connect an AI model of your choice to describe your photos.
- Thread reader: unroll a thread for better readability.
- Bookmarks browser: search your saved posts by words, author, media type and date.
- Hide “Liked by”: remove the “Liked by” row from post pages.
- Video speed & PiP: play videos from 0.5x to 2x and pop them out to picture-in-picture.
- Wider timeline: stretch the feed from 600px up to 1200px on big screens.
- Theme editor: build your own colour theme, or import Witchsky themes.
- Custom AppView: pick who serves your feeds (Bluesky, Eurosky, Blacksky or your own).
- Custom image CDN: load images from Luna or another CDN of your choice.
