You yould take a look at Kdenlive. I use it for when I need to edit videos and since it uses ffmpeg, it supports all the codecs. It also runs on Windows, so you could try it out before committing to anything.

The character limit is so tight that even single ideas don't fit without starting a thread in my experience at least. When people want to talk aboit a specific topic, having to split their text into 20 thread posts is making it a lot harder to read. 1/

I recommend at least trying this out: Make yourself a list of small, realistic ToDos for just the next day. Don't do more than what's on that list. Split big tasks into smaller steps to fit on that list. This way, you can feel accomplishment at the end of the day.

What is your goal with Resonite? Do you want to finish it until a virtual deadline or are you continuously working on improvements to gradually make the platform better? My current approach which worked out surprisingly well was layering and blending multiple repeating photoscan textures procedurally with a bit of noise. For the mushroom stem, I used different sand dune textures at different scales.

You can't directly interact with FFMPEG using ProtoFlux at the moment. You'd have to use some local WebSocket proxy for that. With WASM support, we could directly call into FFMPEG from ProtoFlux.

I'm using a 7T Pro and my experiences with them were the worst. Bad support, it took them 2 weeks to fix my screen covered by warranty, they stopped selling their headphone jack + charging adapter because they broke their driver instead of fixing it. I really can't recommend this company.

I tried to avoid any continuously updating components or flux. When I tested it once in an empty world with someone who has a 10-15 year old PC where you can feel every small piece of lag, there were like 3 updating nodes. It's a lot of flux, but very optimized.

Being transparent about progress in general also makes us see that things are happening. For a startup with few programmers and a big vision, things take time. If there was no communication between major updates, I believe the community could lose some interest in the game.
