Replying again for the notification, I got access to a closer-to-final material plus just overall updated thoughts here: bsky.app/profile/bsky... Also update for the controller and VRC finger tracking system- I should be able to test it tomorrow. Had issues due to me using an incorrect cable for it

000

Alpine @bsky.alpine-fox.xyz · 19/05/2026

-The ease of flexing my fingers is better then ContactGlove2, but worse than my 1st EOZ prototype.

000

Alpine @bsky.alpine-fox.xyz · 19/05/2026

EOZ Gloves Batch 2 (Black-Only gloves) Specific Thoughts: -Comfort is way better than DiverX gloves material (both ContactGlove2 and 1st prototype). maybe slightly less breathable, but softer fabric against palm. -Fabric feels more durable, does not tear/fray over the Velcro near the wrists. (4/?)

100

Alpine @bsky.alpine-fox.xyz · 19/05/2026

-There’s 0 tracker jiggle. If you’ve used ContactGloves you know exactly what I mean, you can feel the weight away from very minimal movements. -EOZ Gloves are powered directly by the Tundra tracker. USB ports on gloves are just for updating firmware rn. (3/?)

100

Alpine @bsky.alpine-fox.xyz · 19/05/2026

-Software-wise setup is pretty easy, and it’s getting smoother. Everything is currently contained in 1 app that’s easy to use. -Current testing does not have any calibration process. Calibration will be added something during testing it sounds like. (2/?)

100

Alpine @bsky.alpine-fox.xyz · 19/05/2026

Since this post a good amount has happened. I got access to the newer batch of prototypes, and also got both hands now! My thoughts: -Accuracy/latency of finger movements is great! By far better than DiverX’s ContactGlove 2, not 1:1 with Quest camera-based solutions in terms of accuracy. (1/?)

110

Alpine @bsky.alpine-fox.xyz · 10/04/2026

For the gloves, the design is going to get switched from what’s currently in-use for the prototypes. These are 1:1 with the ContactGlove 2 material wise. The black/palm side of the glove feels decently breathable. I don’t have any complaints there. The white fabric is def a bit less breathable

000

Alpine @bsky.alpine-fox.xyz · 10/04/2026

So I just got things setup, and latency-wise they feel very good to me. There’s not a very noticeable delay at the minimum With just the glove, it does enable VRChat’s finger tracking system for movement/menus. Once I get my Magnetra working (if it’s supported) I’ll let you know if that changes

200

Alpine @bsky.alpine-fox.xyz · 09/04/2026

I’m excited to share that I got EOZ’s prototype glove! Def excited to try these out soon. I’ll be creating a thread of my thoughts once I get to use them in-game for a bit. If anyone that sees this has any specific questions, feel free to ask!

For those who have a BSB2/BSB2e: what’s your experience with text clarity? I’m getting some bad chromatic aberration on text and wanted to see if this is considered normal. Pic has sweet spot on fpsVR text. Currently got a support ticket open, but I’m looking to get other’s experiences as well.

Through-the lens picture of the Bigscreen Beyond 2E. Photo is of the default SteamVR home, showing text that has chromatic aberration.

Alpine @bsky.alpine-fox.xyz · 05/08/2025

Is it known for titles with the framerate bump if 1440p@120fps is possible? Maybe I’m wrong but so far I’ve only seen 1080p@120fps titles be confirmed (Metroid Prime 4).

Yea so it didn't sell at all but I'm still offering him up for anybody that is interested in the textures and material setup! Looking for around $40+ and you will need to own the fluffy wicker edit. The only thing backwards compatiable with the regular wickerbeast is the horns, claws and eyes

To try to promote my account here, I’m going to do an avatar retexture giveaway I think! I can include other work I’d normally do (such as setting up/uploading the avatar) for their usual prices. Also debating on making the design artist liberty. Stay tuned, I’ll make the proper giveaway post soon

Are VRChat avatar adopts something anyone here is interested in? I’ve seen it pop-up a few times on my timeline, and would gladly give it a shot if so. If it is something you’re interested in, then what features/addons are the most important for an avatar in your opinion?
