Have been trying to get a shot of this pale Buzzard for a week, finally succeeded. At one point today there were six circling together on a thermal. #ukwildlife #wildlifephotography #birdphotography #UKbirding #ukbirds
Buzzard gliding against a blue/grey sky, sunlight coming from upper right of frame highlights the eye and bill. The underside of the bird is very pale with a few flecks of brown.

Up in the North Pennines , at least five Buzzards are hunting nearby, along with at least three Kestrels. With Raven, Crows and Jackdaws in the mix, the sky can be quite interesting at times! #ukwildlife #wildlifephotography #birdphotography #UKbirding #ukbirds

When the description of the holiday let was, "Isolated location, with good views of the night sky". I wasn't expecting this 🙂 *Actually in an adjacent field, just needs a little TLC.
A ruin in the middle of a field with a few sheep in the foreground, the gable ends and walls are still standing, all but a small section of lean-to roof is missing.
