narrowing this down to 9 was impossible. had to choose between pokéspe and frieren. but pokéspe was WAY more formative. i had no room to include fucking WITCH HAT ATELIER????? but again. dragon ball too formative.

my 9 manga: one piece (my favourite long running series that redefined my personality), look back (maybe my favourite piece of art of all time?), fma (my first manga i think! and just peak.), akane-banashi (my favourite long running manga atm and also just. very important art about art), chainsaw man (my favourite character drama manga Unironically), haikyuu (peak sports manga), teppuu (EVEN MORE PEAK SPORTS MANGA), pokéspe (the most realised and well built version of the pokémon world after the games), dragon ball (it's dragon ball. what's to say.)
