#TTRPGs are great. Some are more meaningful than others. Thanks to @kierongillen.bsky.social and @stephaniehans.bsky.social for creating DIE, to @spazzster.bsky.social for running a helluva game, and to @thirdfloorwars.bsky.social @zeeweasel.bsky.social and DK for making one fantastic table.

I went to follow @chaosium.bsky.social 's upcoming Backerkit for Time Without Tide, and saw this. Huh? Are we pre-ordering our preorders now? Are there limits to the number of people who can back the project? I just don't get it. (Game looks fun though.)

It's not the shot itself that's scary, it's the cumulative effect of the previous 80 minutes...which were also not individually scary, but somehow built up an incredible amount of dread.

Yes! I'm a big fan of the safety palette that @jdragsky.bsky.social proposes in Seven-Part Pact, where something can be both "uncomfortable" and "something we want to explore."

Probably the most obscure TTRPG book on my shelves. I've never played it - I don't even have the core rules that this supplement is for - but I've kept it for decades, largely because the adventure "Terra Ash" is a fun take on my favorite Conan story, "Red Nails."

I just noticed this great piece of art/layout work (one of many) in @hauntedtable.bsky.social 's great Triangle Agency rulebook. This pic crosses two non-consecutive pages *vertically*. It's really only visible in this specific PDF view, but it's F'ing brilliant and I wanted to shout it out.
Illustration of the CEO and Intern pages in the Triangle Agency rulebook. The CEO is depicted at their desk, which is supported by a pile of papers and filing cabinets. On the nex page, we see the bottom half of the illustration, where the Intern is carrying all of those cabinets and papers on their overburdened shoulders.
