Terry has been using mixed wheel sizes for ages. a lot of bikes are way too heavy for more petite ppl. esp kids. they don't scale down well. i can barely lift my 32lbs mtb. climbing uphill is so hard. 110

Brynn @brynnyeets.bsky.social · 05/03/2026I’d suggest trail riding in there if you like animals but the hills are a heck of a lot harder to get over on a mtb. Seen a lot more animals deep in the park on the trails. 100
Brynn @brynnyeets.bsky.social · 05/03/2026That’s awesome. Hope you have more fun up there with them. Riding loops at endurance speed helps a ton with climbing. It’ll wreck you at first but pays off in the end. You have to spend so much time riding to get fast. It’s a really bad sport for those short on time. 110
Brynn @brynnyeets.bsky.social · 05/03/2026IMO climbing only gets fun when you’re strong enough to not be survival climbing. When you’re able to keep pushing at the top, then it gets really fun. It takes a ton of work to get that fitness and it’s def not a thing everyone can do or wants to do. E-bikes are a really good alternative 110

Could have just worn a tshirt instead of my long sleeve. Had to roll it up to my elbows. Was beautiful out. 110
