I just finished painting these Russian Pavlovsky Grenadiers from Perry Miniatures. These fellows will represent the Grenadier Company, with three Fusilier Companies filling out the Battalion. #historicalminiatures #perryminiatures #napoleonicwars #paintingminiatures

Six Pavlovsky Grenadiers in fancy mitre hats marching along against a background of trees.

My first Pavlovski Grenadier from Perry Miniatures. I adore the mitre just as much as I abhor the lack of fancy headwear in modern warfare. We must return to silly hat! #paintingminiatures #miniaturepainting #napoleonic #napoleonicminiatures #perryminiatures

A Pavlovsky Grenadier marching with his musket in the 'march attack' position. He has a fancy mitre on his head.

I finished this command base for some knights on foot today. I wanted to test myself and so painted them without using any washes or metallic paints. #paintingminiatures #medieval #perryminiatures

A lonely tower, standing vigil somewhere in the Holy Land. This tower is a 3D print from Printable Scenery, while the surrounding terrain is mostly styrofoam covered with filler paste. #paintingminiatures #historicalminiatures

A model tower standing atop a cliff surrounded by a barren landscape of dry grass, rocks and sand. A trumpeter and flag bearer stand atop the battlements.

Avast ye, Mechwarriors! I painted a pirate Catapult. #miniaturepainting #battletech

A Catapult Mech in red with a replacement leg in blue-grey stands on top of a sandy cliff against a background of trees and other rocky promontories.

I finished a lance of Davion Guards for Battletech. The Mechs I chose are mostly just a result of picking up the next one I thought looked cool, but they fit the MUL. I'm hoping to paint up a whole company in this scheme. #battletech #miniaturepainting

Four Battlemechs painted in a blue scheme with a red and white stripe down their left side.

Beware the terrifying M5 Stuart! Woe to all lightly-armoured German vehicles and other soft targets. #miniaturepainting #worldwartwo #rubiconmodels #empressminiatures

Just finished this British Tank Commander from Empress Miniatures. A lovely sculpt by Paul Hicks; the time just flew by while I was painting him this morning! #miniaturepainting #worldwartwo #empressminiatures #paulhicks

A British Tank Commander from the Second World War holds his hand to his ear, dressed in khaki overalls, a brown leather jerkin, and a black beret.

I've been painting away on my Napoleonic French in Egypt project. The figures are all from Perry Miniatures, and the buildings are from the fantastic, but now sadly closed, Fogou Models. #miniaturepainting #napoleonic #perryminiatures #fogoumodels

Today I finished painting Footsore Miniatures’ King Aella of Northumbria. Although I think he looks a tad too Late Antiquity to really be from the 9th century, and I’ll probably use him as a character of my own devising. #miniatures #minipainting #darkages #footsoreminiatures #historicalminiatures

A late antiquity warlord and his banner man stand atop a rocky promontory. Their banner, a red and white striped dragon, flutters in the mountain breeze.

I made another hill! This time with a spooky barrow entrance, sculpted by @fogoumodels.bsky.social. What could possibly be inside? Could it be treasure?? (It's probably just bones.) #wargaming #miniatures #wargamingterrain #darkages

A stony hill with a spooky entrance made of stone. Outside are two Dark Age ruffians.

I made myself a hill! My name actually means large hill in Welsh, so consider this a self-portrait. The hill is a rough shape cut from polystyrene foam, covered in filler paste, and with some sand and small cork chips glued to the top. Painting was mostly heavy dry-brushing over a brown base-coat.

Three adventurers - a male warrior with a spear, a female warrior with a sword and shield, and a priest with a crozius - stand atop a hill against a background of trees and green mountains.

Really enjoyed painting this Vampire Lord; I absolutely adore the bats holding up the flowing locks of hair. 🧛 #warhammer #ageofsigmar #paintingwarhammer #warhammercommunity

A vampire with long blonde hair carried aloft by bats, clad in spiky black armour, and carrying a spiked mace and red shield emblazoned with a yellow dragon.

Kor Phaeron, Adopted Father of the Primarch Lorgar Aurelian, First Captain of the Word Bearers, Master of Faith, Priest-King of Colchis, and angry old man in an augmetic waking frame. A lovely sculpt by Edgar Skomorowski; I really enjoyed my time painting this model. #paintingwarhammer #horusheresy
