The Labour Party is contradictory it has always had a big connection with the working class because of its trade union affiliations. Its leaders however, generally speaking, have terrible politics. The other major parties have no such contradiction at their hearts they’re simply on the other side.

I stand with the Trans community and support Lab4TransRights. A number of big unions did not attend the Labour Women’s Conference because of the exclusion of Trans women and I support their decision.

To push back how are you proposing to beat Reform in 2029? I don’t think 70 Greens at most, a handfull of Your Party MPs and Farage in No 10 would be a good result. In fact I’d see it as a catastrophe. What do you think?

Yes this is correct. I’d go as far as to say it’s never been a socialist party. Even under Jeremy Corbyn the democratic socialist wing of the party did not control the Parliamentary Labour Party. There’s an interesting debate to be had about Atlee but I wasn’t alive.

Labour has introduced a number of positive policies which are much better than the Tories and certainly Reform. Yes they’ve been frequently watered down which is precisely why it’s important people like me are there to challenge the drift to the right.
