"Scrapyard Daydream" This is why clothes should stay in the frame. "Aspirational" I don't know if people tend to hate these stylized portraits, but I like them. Taken as the sun set, the high ISO lent itself to artsy post-production. I asked Kayla if the tattoo was aspirational, or if she had posed for Playboy. Her answer is the title. #artnude #intimatephotography

"The Relaximist" I'm prone to inventing a portmanteau for use as a title, or, in this case, just making up a word. "Memory Loss" Mom was suffering from dementia when she had the stroke that ushered her to death. As the picture guy, I took possession of the family photo albums, some of which had met catastrophic water damage. Before I disposed of them, I photographed some of the pages, which felt poignantly apt.

"Flit" I like to make faux album art for my playlists. I've been doing it since the 90s. Had to crop in a lot for you to notice the focal point of the title—the butterfly—that happened to be in shot with @astridkallsen.bsky.social in this relic of a tub on a hot summer day. #artnude #graphicdesign
