Back to work on the Neon Tokyo terrain set. Adding some roof ballast to the top of the arcade building with this @thearmypainter.bsky.social Brown Battleground grit. I found it at a local shop and grabbed it on a whim to try it out, and it looks like it's going to be perfect. #WIP #WARGAMING

Thanks! I try to start with a bright basecoat and then work in shadows afterwards, to keep the vibrancy up as much as possible.

Werewolf was probably my mvp, followed by Abomination. Dracula had some big swings, but didn't really do a lot, Mummy survived the whole game, but didn't do anything noteworthy. Frankenstein's Monster tanked a hit with his card and then died, but he did give out a couple staggers.

Yesterday we played a 22 threat game using randomly drawn crisis cards. It ended up being Panic Grips and Gamma Shelters. I played a Universal Monsters themed list vs Spider-Foes. It was a lot of fun, and a decently close game. #CrisisProtocol #Wargaming #MCP

Here's the colors used for his red sections. Basecoat was Dragon, then Dragon and angel green mixed for shadows and angel green for deep shadows. Dragon and angelic red, angelic, angelic and flickering flame and finally flickering alone for highlights.

Lots of chair time, haha. But also I switched to Army Painter Fanatics and their colors have a nice their system, which saves mixing. I do a lot of Complementary color mixing as well. The shadows are all Dragon Red mixed with Angel Green, or green on its own.
