This needs to be said again : ☸️ Set a #Kubernetes memory request? That memory is locked and reserved... used or not. ☸️ Set ONLY a limit? K8s automatically sets the request to match it. ☕ No JVM heap size? It defaults to 25-50%, wasting the rest. Stop bleeding cloud budget. aka.ms/jaz

Developers are confusing two types of problem solving. On one end, we can certainly consider writing algorithms as solving problems. But there is another problem we have always been solving that does not translate to writing code: system design thinking.

About scaling your business: Scale and fail quickly, and they’ll say you scaled too soon. Scale and fail slowly, and they’ll say you scaled too late. Scale and succeed, and they’ll say you knew exactly when to scale.

2026 is when we realized the real cost -- hundreds of billions of dollars and thousands of data centers -- to get every business person to use the same PowerPoint template, huh? That's why it took so long to standardize.

Monorepos are the only way to truly build software effectively with AI coding agents. Yes, agent harnesses can go into other repos and whatnot, but the amount of hoops makes then less effective and more expensive.
