@brumcyclist @brumcyclist.bsky.social · 08/10/2026It was still there a few minutes later. I often wonder if bikes locked so badly are bait bikes to tempt and catch thieves. 000
@brumcyclist @brumcyclist.bsky.social · 08/10/2026It won't stop it completely. Outside the gym windows there is a hire bike/scooter area. If the stands were there it might encourage gym users to go by bike knowing they can keep an eye on it. The current position is next to the blank wall out of view from the gym. 000
@brumcyclist @brumcyclist.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Also new, outside KFC, Burger & Sauce (until a. BMW flattens it) and two in York Road. 000

@brumcyclist @brumcyclist.bsky.social · 27/09/2026I find the 5mph signs a bit silly as it's pretty difficult to ride a bike at 5mph. Or perhaps it's intended for the car drivers who drive here to the bee hives ? I'm not sure why they can't park at the car park and walk the last few hundred metres. 100

@brumcyclist @brumcyclist.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Have only skimmed a few but I think so too. I wonder what the purpose is. It used to have a few badly written pages with a link to a gambling site but seems like domain expired and was renewed this week. 100
@brumcyclist @brumcyclist.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Actually I think it's AI. Priya and Marcus feature heavily but living in different areas. Odd. 100
@brumcyclist @brumcyclist.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Nothing to do with me but Birminghamcyclist.com domain name appears to have a new owner and content. A number of blog posts added in the last few days. I thought it was AI at first but have an idea who it might be.
