The joys of old vehicles. You can work on them and you have to work on them.

A 1985 vanagon is in the background. On a table is a disassembled CV joint and axle.

Visiting Toronto and I retook a picture from 2017. It was nice to revisit the city I lived in most of my life but I wouldn't move back. I love living by the ocean too much.

Details. A cover off of our 1985 Westfalia. (probably hasn't been washed in those 41 years)

Going through and organizing my old things. Came across this shoulder crest from my past. What a great gig that was flying around the world in a Lear 35. Well before cell phone cameras so I have very few pictures from then.

Thanks to Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston this is what greats visitors arriving by air in Halifax. Not a great first impression.

Tried it but it just fell apart. Maybe I'll have better luck in the shower.

Stay safe. Lots of wind here and the snow is just starting.

Here I am sitting in the middle of the UK PreHospital galaxy. I never worked in the UK system but I'm happy if they'll have me.

Our plane is at the gate which is a good sign we get to Calgary.

While travelling around Japan we've grown to love watching sumo.

Tonight's dinner: egg salad sandwich, spicy pickles, STRAWBERRY WHIPPED CREAM SANDWICH, local ipa.

27 years ago Toronto asked for the military's help to deal with a snow emergency. I got to transport a patient in a Bison. I was also interviewed for CBC Radio (although I've never found the audio from that). A very fun day.

A year ago today one of my favourite partners died. He was a gem of a person, amazing bass player, and made me play the role of the "bad cop" because of his goodness. Here's a picture from my last shift when I retired (2015). Cheers Phil.

Christmas breakfast: sourdough (local) french toast with maple syrup (local), vegan breakfast sausages, and coffee. It's a good morning.

We went for a solstice walk this morning. Highlight was 2 bald eagles, 1 of which was eating a deer carcass on the shoreline.
