Location of a recent US strike 400 miles southwest off the coast of Acapulco. The arc of the bottom left quadrant delimits the strike’s potential locations.

When deng xihui proposed a capitalist restoration in agriculture, mao asked him what are the political implications of such policies. he couldnt answer, leading to mao lecturing him for an hour and a half about the necessity for continuing revolution.

We must, know how to use cadres well. In the final analysis, leadership involves two main responsibilities: to work out ideas, and to use cadres well. Such things as drawing up plans, making decisions, and giving orders and directives, are all in the category of "working out ideas".

To put the ideas into practice, we must weld the cadres together and encourage them to go into action; this comes into the category of "using the cadres well".

The Split in German Social-Democracy
Outset of the War
From the very outset of the war, there was no unity within the ranks of German Social-emocracy. Even before the first Reichstag vote on war credits, two tendencies had emerge ithin the parliamentary faction: one for and one against approving the credit
Puring the infial son, the intent to the old disay disciplit in tet bro got a unification
between the Eisenachers and the Lassalleans, the party had always presented a united front against the bourgeoisie and the Junkers.
Even during the most acute periods of internal struggle between the orthodox Marxists and the revisionists, a unity of public action had been maintained. It was precisely this unity under which German Social-Democracy had grown and strengthened, transforming into a powerful party with over a million members, dozens of newspapers and journals, and so on. It is therefore understandable that many associated the successes of the socialist movement with this unity, and nothing else. Repeatedly, during stormy sessions at various party congresses, when polemics between representatives of different tendencies flared up with particular intensity and threatened a split, the leaders would remind everyone of the necessity of unity.
The main argument of the late August Bebel* and others was that they must not grant the bourgeoisie a triumph— a bourgeoisie that, before almost every party congress, predicted the party's inevitable split.
*Bebel, August (1840-1913) - a prominent figure in the German and international workers' movement, one of the leaders and founders of German Social-Democracy and the Second International.
However, maintaining an external unity did not prevent the maturation of deep, principled disagreements within the party. The modern war merely brought long-debated points of party tactics into sharp relief, forcing the various tendencies to draw the logical conclusions from their views and, in its further development, leading to a

The reason why third worldist conception of super profits is wrong is because if they were right that the majority of workers in imperialist countries are paid super profits, the consequences would be catastrophic.

I have no patience for trotskyists who see nothing of value or spin tall tales about the pce under diaz and the role of the comintern in spain. It is just a repackaging of the “principled” attacks on dimitrov. The fact is that the line of the PCE prior to Diaz was a bad one.

The 2nd ROL, the Avakianite RCPUSA, and the Colombian eclectics UOCMLM have all promoted a similar idea in different names. The 2nd ROL called it “balance of 150 years legacy.” The avakianites referred to a “new synthesis,” and the eclectics once used the concept of “balance of October cycle”

rerum novarum’s anti communism is funny because it is actually against Owenism. Nothing it says actually addresses the marxist communist program. For example the author believes that communist want to retain private property but make it owned by some municipality or village.

consolidation and bolshevization of our Party have proceeded in the midst of revolutionary wars; without armed struggle the Communist Party would assuredly not be what it is today. Comrades throughout the Party must never forget this experience for which we have paid in blood.

In 1958 mao almost took a deadly swerve to the right. He made a proper assessment, however, and by 1965 he is totally in line with the vanguard of the anti-revisionist camp. and by the 70s, he has become in my view the most prominent figure.
