Explanation of joke. I believe I translated the comic right but I only learned about the nuances of the oni in the zodiac system today.

Hey guys been in and out of the hospital with multiple blood clots in my lungs and legs. So while I am hoping for a speedy recovery I'm just in a lot of pain and comics will be slow. If I die I'll have someone let you guys know lol. Thank you to a good friend for making this for me:

context: based on the fairy tale "A Little Match Girl" where a girl lights the matches she is selling to stay warm. It's very sad and I recommend watching the 2006 Disney version.

1/2 Hey guys, I've been really sick the past few months and have been in and out of the hospital. I've been able to get a bit of translating and word art from my bed but the final parts are done at my desk which I can't be at for too long.

New people: This is Cricket. She often gets mistaken for G-buri who is a cockroach.

Uryuuminene18 fans: There is a children’s song in Japan called “I found a little autumn”. Its lyrics describe someone finding “little autumns” or signs the season is changing to autumn. A common sign of fall in Japan is crickets or the sound of crickets.

Titled “Kumarin Mimics Them #マリンのお宝”. Read right to left. Original art by uryuuminene18 on Twitter. Translation by me. Please support the original artist.

The comic features two characters: a large, round, plush bear and a smaller character, Kumarin, dressed in a matching bear costume.
In the first panel, Kumarin stands next to the plush bear, raising their arms slightly as if posing. A sign appears next to the plush bear, reading, “Kumarin considers them a friend.” The plush bear lies on its side with a neutral, static expression.
In the second panel, Kumarin lies down beside the plush bear, mirroring its pose. Kumarin looks at the bear with a curious, slightly puzzled expression, indicated by a question mark above their head.
In the third panel, both Kumarin and the plush bear are lying down and appear to have fallen asleep. Kumarin’s eyes are closed, and the sound of sleeping is shown with the text "Zzz" coming from both of them.
