Thanks! It's one of those times where the muse shocked the f*ck out of me. In my fantasy series a character has a possessed Datsun & no one knows how it got that way. Then in my 80s Haunted House book, I gave the character same make & model, and when the demon in the house goes into the car I was 🤯

hick coats of gray dust and rotting autumn leaves collected on the Datsun, marring its already faded, chipped blue paint. The wagon hadn’t been driven a single mile since the old man parked it in the overgrown weeds of his side yard and jammed a crude, faded FOR SALE sign behind the rusted driver’s side windshield wiper.
Deep inside the cast-iron engine block, the spirit of chaos curled in upon itself with absolute desolation.
When it had first been banished into the vehicle’s me-chanical womb over three decades ago, the entity had raged, spitting sparks and fighting violently against its cramped new confines.
This space was suffocatingly small compared to the vast, sprawling estate and echoing ballroom over which it had held absolute dominion for a century. Stripped of the Sazerac ghosts to torment or commune with, the entity grew profoundly, agonizingly lonely.
Even worse, it had quickly learned a brutal rule of its new existence: if it harmed its occupants, it directly harmed itself. With pure horror, it discovered that if it had done anything worse than dent a thin steel fender during its early tantrums, its human driver would have simply dis-carded it in a junkyard—a graveyard for immovable vehi-cles.
After those crushing early disappointments, however, the spirit had gradually learned to enjoy its strange new incarnation. It grew to love the sheer thrill of movement. It relished being out in the open wind, speeding through ne-on-lit cities, tearing down wide countryside highways, and occasionally climbing steep mountain passes, making wild animals flee into the brush in absolute terror.
It had even grown unexpectedly fond of its second owner—the very teenage boy it had initially tried to run off the suicide bridge.

I managed to pull Kent's guitar quilt from the wreckage. It only has 2 big tears and 2 holes from the tree. I painted each square and Grandma sewed it. Pretty sure my horror quilt is ok. Though yesterday, when getting prescription cat food we saw that the room caved in further into Micah's room.

The latest ai-generated marking email I got put in a direct quote from To Wed a Warrior, which isn't out until Friday and that quote IS not in the final draft I uploaded to retailers. That means the ai was able to scrape the placeholder file I had on KDP. I am so sickened and creeped out right now.

The ad shows a couple looking at a grandfather clock and says that it "wont fit" in their GE8 Fit that was shown at the beginning of the commercial, so they call an Uber XL minivan to haul it. What a sick joke. A grandfather clock would 100% fit into a GE8. They could have picked any other car on planet earth and it would have made sense but they chose the one car that can fit anything.
