Sigh.... The only thing is worse than paying AU$10.60 for a coffee is paying AU$10.60 &) for a BAD coffee. Pike Street Coffee, do not recommend!

Now I'm going to spend 2 minutes finding a way to fix "ok" to "on" in that post

I've never thought of myself as "inattentive"... But I've just become acutely aware of how much my attention gets drawn away while I read a book. A good, engaging book. Oh what's that crumb on my top? Let me just post about this observation. Oh what's that thread ok Bluesky? 🤦‍♀️

First Seattle breakfast and it's a gooood one! Oddfellows Cafe I'm Capitol Hill, delicious coffee and amazing food, highly recommend 👌

Forgot to respond - thanks yep I did use this, and holy shit!! I got through customs in about 5 minutes. The queue for normal entry was looking like 1-2 hours!

Ohhh all the year in review things are starting to annoy me ("no I don't need a year in review of my workout app, fix your bugs instead!)" but I am going looking for this one!!

Finally getting started on our PAX cosplay... Maybe a little late to start, when it's for all four of us, but that's how we roll. Can you guess the game? Hint: were a squad

Enchantment?? Environment 🤦‍♀️

Bron Thulke @bronthulke.bsky.social · 01/09/2025

Sadly I think they are actually engaged with a large part of their fan base, and if they go ahead with this, they will only be supporting those who perpetrate their bad culture even more

Bron Thulke @bronthulke.bsky.social · 01/09/2025

And yet, they have now confirmed they are sticking with him. Ridiculous, how are are supposed to believe the AFL actually wants to see any change in their toxic enchantment?!

It beggars belief that the AFL is persisting with the choice of Snoop Dog to provide the entertainment at the Grand Final. Misogynism and homophobia must not be condoned.

Saturday morning status: benchmarking a new function we created this week, which will currently be used in both .NET Framework 4.8.1 and .NET 8 and above. The perf improvements in ".NET Core" is really mind-blowing 🤯 The sooner we finish our migration project the better! #dotnet

Oh yeah and you have to tap on the screen to send what you say. I feel like from a quick look around, we've ended up with a subpar experience to what was first released for this feature.

Claude AI app is rolling out the beta of real time voice conversations on android, but the interrupt feature isn't working. Anyone else experiencing this?

Great trick! I've put some of my larger indoor plants into the shower for the same treatment in the past, but never thought to use the bath for all the smaller ones! I just have them all sitting on trays and water them in situ

Did you know Windows Terminal can do "split tabs"? This is such a productivity boost if you do a lot in terminal Alt+Shift+- and Alt+Shift++ to split Alt+Shift+arrows will change the split width/height Alt+arrows will move between your split Ctrl+Sft+W to close And mouse works to move too!

Reading a live news feed BACKWARDS on a morning like this is an experience....

020

Reading ahead is always the key ... that and not correcting any error that you do make - I ALWAYS struggle with that second bit! I'm a perfectionist

000

Yep ok, let's do this 🤣🤣🤣 (this is just one line)

100

I know my speed has reduced over the years when typing as I think, seems I'm faster than i thought when I'm typing something that i can read ahead on.

Bron Thulke @bronthulke.bsky.social · 17/06/2025

Haha thanks impressive!! The only time I've ever hit around 115wpm has been when doing really short and repetitive things Qwerty?

I was speaking with someone the other day at DDD By Night about typing speeds.... It had been a while, and I am always saying how much I hate my new flashy keyboard for typing. Well, it seems when I put my mind to it and concentrate, I can actually do alright still! (QWERTY keyboard, not DVORAK)

Oh cool, ads by partners on Azure are a thing now! I've been looking forward to this day.... /endsarcasm

I didn't even dig in to see just how purely evil they are, beyond seeing they are a BNPL monster But from what you're saying, it seems they're particularly bad and I will have a further read up, so I can be sure to warn others in future as they seem to be trying to enter the Australian Market

I avoid all similar types of businesses, but it sounds like Klarna have a particularly bad rep. Glad i found out now.

Businesses and data get bought out all the time, it's hope the capitalist world goes around. But this one felt particularly gross when I found out who had acquired my data 🤢
