Another pre- Art Fight doodle page of Oscar, who has gotten some design tweaks in recent months.

As do I. There's a lot of historical examples of unassuming people getting by thru engineering drip and aura. I feel like I appreciate this type of "strong woman" character, which you see utilized less over "outlier in physical strength". WE'RE A SOCIAL SPECIES THAT LEVERAGES INTERPERSONAL POWER!

Got asked some time ago about a "modern AU" for Forever Gold. I don't know, something tells me Quincy wouldn't be faring any better interpersonally.

Happy #juneteenth ! I have a shop and such, but mostly... you should look at my game. It's free, it's a multimedia RPG where all the characters happen to be black, and most importantly, it's an engaging read with a cast of enjoyable weirdos... so says many a kind review. ; )

A lot of screenshots get taken in case we wanna use them for promo shots and... sometimes I'll look through them just for fun

...or maybe the idea of asking for a girl's regency-era number has been too terrifying to confront. 😳 (3/3)

He also takes the idea that courtship happens during the Season too literally, thinking it rude to flirt outside of it. He's spent most his young adulthood buried in his cases, to the point his participation in the Season has been rare. Perhaps he truly hasn't been able to spare a moment... (2/3)

Lucas despises a rake. He fears being perceived as one... (1/3)

That's a lovely compliment to receive; I was working on lighting quality via line with this, so that makes me happy. Thank you!

Thank youuu! I was experimenting a little in this one so I'm glad it paid off.

Thank you! You can imagine Oscar making that "ohohoho~" anime lady laugh sfx in Lucas's mind's eye.

You might recognize this as a callback of sorts to Truant. Friends don't pass easily in or out of Lucas's life... This comic teases many things, but particularly the introduction of @lsdolphin.bsky.social 's Itaja - who is set to appear in Episode 5 of Forever Gold.

Trespass (8/8) ...As well as a peculiar sense of deja vu. Whether this goes anywhere good remains to be seen!

1162

🎠BroncoBurro 🎠 @broncoburro.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

Trespass (7/8) It looks like he "found" some company. (Not that he's all too pleased...)

1151

🎠BroncoBurro 🎠 @broncoburro.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

Trespass (6/8) Perhaps the stillness of the library would be preferable for that of his dormitory... at least it lasted a few minutes.

Trespass (3/8) Is it the silence? Or is it simply too loud inside his own head?

Trespass (2/8) I'm sure he took his time through the halls...

Hearing Qifrey speak gave me the startling realization that I hadn't read his voice in the cadence of a gentle British lad, but in fact, exactly like the guidance counsellor from Bob's Burgers. Mr. Frond. Anyone else? No? Just me? Ok.

I love your interpretations of my guy so much!! You've got a great knack at capturing his larger than life personality. The giant grin is literally perfect, the warm atmosphere too. Thank you again for art trading with me! Tis my current phone bg and I smile everytime I see it.

Haaa calling it a divorce is such an asshole move when he was such a foot-dragger on the commitment front to begin with. I suppose he is 85% asshole moves by volume though..... god I hope Cloverhill was everything Milana could have asked for

Ahhh the colors here are great! The red of the above seeming both promising and ominous... something better could be up there, but it often feels safer to stay where you are. Just speculating of course, but feels very Percy thematic.

He hardly had enough ear to lose in the first place... and now they itch any time there's a storm coming on. But at least he's Northern! IT COULD BE WORSE.

There is also a plate of birds: "All Northern hunters learns how the alarm call of a Northern Jay alerts of their presence, or that following the nasal squawk of the Mulian Tern will lead to a colony of Lord Elkhatu's seals, where they feed off their fish scraps."

‪ "The Architect saw fit to confine his most awesome and terrible creatures to the North, caged from civilization by mountain, ice, and endless night. Should you enter that loathsome gaol, knowledge of these in-mates might save your hide." - Excerpt from "Beasts of the Architect", 1790.

Thank you! (Obligatory manga spoiler warning:) I originally had them wrapped up in roots but, then I thought about how the spells on his glasses lenses are another thing he conceals from Olly. And also it matches their hair colors, so it seemed too compositionally perfect to not use!

You're honestly so right; his cat vibes are off the chart. I feel like someone must have surely drawn it!

I quite like the bare ink version too. It was enjoyable to experiment with such a decorated inking style; Shirahama Kamome's art is inspiring. I just ate this manga up. Lovely story.
